Pleasantly surprised - Edit
We went here the first time simply because it was close and were greeted with an entirely separate menu showing all the vegan options. We returned to try more. Fun casual atmosphere.

Clearly laid out vegan options plus happy hour! - Edit
The options here are plentiful and clearly laid out, both on menu and online. Plus, they have an awesome happy hour! I recommend the garlic dip and the tabbouleh.

Many vegan options - Edit
I had the "macro platter" with a side of hummus and it was amazing! You definitely get your money's worth when you order that. Perfect amount of food and very healthy due to low/none oil in the cooking process. The platter comes with beans, tofu, brown rice, and a mix of steamed vegetables. Also includes pita bread on the side. I had a side of hummus as well to give it more flavor.

Cons: pita bread was slightly dry/flavorless

Airport Food - Edit
I ate in the Phoenix airport and was so hungry anything would taste good. Plenty of vegan options. I paid $20 for a spinach pasta salad, naked smoothie and falafel pita. I would eat here again, but would add avocado to my wrap and skip the salad. Also, I thought the wrap was kinda bland until i smothered it in siracha.

Decent food, decent prices - Edit
Our group ordered the hummus trio, lots of pita and I got the falafel salad. The falafel did not have a lot of flavor, but the salad itself was crisp and delicious. I did not like the dressing that came with the salad so I used the hummus as dressing instead. The pita and hummus were very good, and we ordered a lot of extra pita. I’d say the roasted red pepper was their best of the three hummus options. I’ve yet to try the grilled veggie wrap (not the falafel wrap), but I’ve heard it’s good. I’ll give this place another chance when I go back and order a wrap instead, but I’m not a fan of their falafel.

Boring - Edit
The falafel pita was pretty boring, but was saved a bit because I had them add avocado. The macro platter was really boring - dry and not much flavor. It was really loud inside, which made it difficult to have a conversation.

Pita Jungle - Edit
Very good falafel Salad. They often have delicious vegan soups and chili. And a choice of great wines. It's a great atmosphere, especially the ones in Tempe and Mesa, Arizona. There are a few in AZ. And they will go out of their way to inform you of ingredients or modify. It is a relaxing "family/semi-hippie" place where a mixed family (Vegan/vegetarian/non-veggies) can all enjoy together.

Vegan Options Extremely Limited - Edit
After going over their menu ahead of time, as far as vegan goes, they have a flavorless sounding combo plate (rice, beans & steamed veggies(make at home food)), you can get a side of lentils and rice(bland version of what I make at home). I got the falafel platter appetizer for my main and it was good but not worth coming back to eat every time... I used to go here before I went vegan and it was pretty good but poor vegan options. I hope people can get over misconceptions that vegans don't like flavor and eat dust size portions lol.

It's OK - Edit
I ate at this Pita Jungle for lunch last Friday and I left feeling very underwhelmed. I ordered the garden veggie wrap and when I bit into it I found that the rice was very undercooked and the wrap in general didn't taste great. I expressed my concern to the waitress and asked for something else, the falafel wrap. I really didn't want a falafel wrap but figured this was the safest way to go - it was good, but nothing special. I think this is a good option if you're dining with non-veg friends, but the food isn't life changing.

Veg-friendly, vegan-friendly but NOT vegetarian - Edit
We had Southwestern Tofu Scramble this morning at the Tempe location. It was quite tasty. Portion size was more than adequate. ( Actually, it was more than I could eat.) There are many vegan and vegetarian choices. However, fish, chicken, beef and turkey are on the menu. Service is friendly and efficient. Coffee is flavorful and refilled endlessly.

Good vegan breakfast options - Edit
I've had several different items at Pita Jungle but their vegan apple crepes are the best and if you're looking for a good tofu scramble, they've got it. Large portions, too!

Great - Edit
I prefer this location to the Arcadia one. There are plenty of tables (especially now that they've expanded), and the menu has plenty of options. My favorite is the 1000 bean pita (I get mine without the pita), the beans, brown rice, and herbs make it a healthy and delicious meal. I tried the same dish at the Arcadia location, and it wasn't as good (also smaller portions).
