Convinti dalle recensioni abbiamo provato un gelato, ma ne siamo rimasti molto delusi. Da italiani siamo rimasti impressionati dal prezzo eccessivamente alto (2,50€ a pallina), inoltre un cono vegano costa 1,50€ in aggiunta. Ho chiesto di poter assaggiare il pistacchio, che era verde in maniera sospetta, ma mi hanno risposto che loro non fanno assaggiare niente. Che dire, prezzi inverosimili per un gelato mediocre.

Tasty vegan pistachio ice cream - Edit
Stopped by for a really tasty vegan pistachio ice cream to take away yesterday. The owner was very friendly and helpful and pointed out that I needed to have a tub as the cones were not vegan. This establishment needs supporting as vegan options of any kind are extremely rare in Piran so if you are in Piran during the season or not, be sure to stop by at Piran Pirano Pasticcerla for a delicious vegan ice cream right near the harbour and the famous Tartini Square.

Great choice of vegan flavours (fruit sorbet sacher torte, pistachio and dark choc) & special kudos for sustainability: as we opted to eat on the spot, our icecreams came in glass cups, with a normal coffee spoon at no extra cost!

Excellent ice cream with vegan cones - Edit
We were balking along the waterfront and spotted the ice cream, several of which were clearly marked vegan. We chose the Sacher, which was based on the flavours of the yummy Viennese torte, and watermelon. The Sacher was our favourite because of the bold flavours and pieces of apricot. The watermelon was good too, and refreshing. And they have vegan cones!

OH MAN. If you end up in Piran, you must stop by this shop. If you’re a big chocolate person you HAVE to try the Black Hawaii, it will change your life. They don’t do samples so I took a shot and took the advise of the worker to try it and WOW.

They had two kinds of vegan chocolate and sorbet ice creams. The cone is not vegan. Right next to the café there is a nice place in shadow, benches and a little pond where you can eat your ice cream.
