Veggie Pesto Da Bomb - Edit
Wasn’t expecting to get such an amazing vegan pizza here. I got the Veggie Pesto pizza with a cauliflower crust and vegan cheese. It honestly was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It came with artichoke hearts, spinach, cherry tomatoes, etc. So good!!
Read morePros: Vegan cheese, Cauliflower crust, Lots of flavor
Cons: Minimal other vegan options

2 hard working girls - Edit
Short staffed. 0nly 2 employees working very hard. Owner should give them bonuses. Owner should get involved and hire more employees or assist in person.

Expensive but some options. - Edit
Glad that they accommodate vegan customers, but they upcharge on everything, making it not a great option.
Read moreThey charge $1/ounce for plant based meat.
Then 2.50 for the crust. So it comes out to around $20 for a 10 inch pizza.
Pros: Has some options.
Cons: Rip off.

Vegan 'Cheese' and Vegan 'Meat' Available - Edit
Nice Vegan pizza option. I really like that they have vegan cheese and vegan meat analogues. I'm not however happy that it adds $3.00 to a small pizza.
Read more$11.95 Vegan Fire Grilled BBQ Chicken Thin Crust:
Sub vegan cheese and vegan chicken. If you order the thick crust it is an additional $1.50. I really enjoyed the thin crust and think there might not be enough flavor for a thick crust.
I recommend adding garlic with the olive oil and herb or oregano sprinkled on top.
$2.19 Cucumber Mint Lemonade: Really surprised with this flavor. I'm not someone who generally likes these types of uniquely flavored drinks. They have other flavors as well but this was by far my favorite.
The lady who to took my order was not very familiar with veganism nor was she friendly. I asked for the garlic to be added with the olive oil and she asked if I meant to add garlic only instead of red sauce (this pizza doesn't have red sauce). Then she said they could do a garlic herb butter and I reminded her butter has dairy and is not vegan. It seemed like a lot of back and forth to simply add garlic to the base with the olive oil and have oregano sprinkled on top to increase flavor. We always ask for this at pizza places and normally it isn't an issue.
*it looks like they may have a butter alternative (unsure if vegan) perhaps that is what the staff member was trying to explain.
*We've called in to place an order as well and we're hung up on 3 times in a row. The stag would answer and immediately hang up.
'The Pizza Joint' has friendlier staff, more knowledgeable staff regarding veganism and their menu, more sizes, carry diaya cheese, but they only carry one vegan meat analogue (soyrizo).
Either place seems to have nice vegan options depending on what you are looking for.
I checked the pizza crust online and it stated neither the thin or thick crust have egg or dairy. The cauliflower crust has egg, the wheat has honey and I believe the gluten free also has egg.
Overall I was really happy with the pizza. It had a really nice flavor. The staff's ignorance of their menu and veganism did make me a bit weary and I double checked my order a couple of times. Hopefully they train their staff better in the future or perhaps today was an off day.
Online Ordering is not conducive to veganizing the 'chef inspired pizzas'. There is no place for substitutions. If you created a custom pizza just like their inspired pizzas, I'm not sure if the price would be the same. We found it best to call.
Vegan Options: Allow for almost every pizza and salad on the menu to be made vegan.
Vegan Cheese: Diaya
Vegan Plant Protiens: Beef Meatball, Chicken Chunks, Spicy Italian Sausage
Pros: Diaya vegan cheese , Vegan plant protiens: meetball, chicken, sausage, Almost every item on the Menu can be made Vegan
Cons: Plant protien is a $1.00, Diaya is $2.00, 11.5" Pizza only size available
