Expensive underwhelming vegan food

We ordered from the takeaway counter and paid $40 for a rice and bean burrito and a plate of enchiladas -- that felt pretty expensive relative to the value of the food and the experience. It was a longish wait sitting in our car after we ordered, and that was disappointing because we chose the spot hoping that the business model meant a quicker grab and go option, as we were running short on time. The burrito was average, but dry. The mole on the enchiladas was so bitter that we didn't eat them. Might have been a tad burnt. I wouldn't come here again. 3 stars because I appreciate the labeled vegan options at the indoor kiosk (not labeled on the menu linked from website though).

Flavor town

I really enjoy the layered flavors and the story behind how long it takes to cook the bean
I don’t mind making the drive just for their plant based menu

Pros: Lots of vegan, Salsa, Rice and bean

Cons: Drive

disappointing dining

Fast food customer service and quality for moderate/high restaurant prices. The vegetarian menu is okay (about 1/3 the size of the regular menu) but the vegan menu is about 1/4 of the vegetarian menu. Super limited choices with only limited ingredient plates. Burnt chips, $1.55 for 2tbs guacamole, and overcooked tamales to the point of being too hard to chew. This was my last 2 dining experiences here.

Pros: Separate vegetarian menu, Quick service, Clean

Cons: Fast food customer service and quality for moderat, Extremely limited vegan options, Bad food

Hearty Mexican Food

Beautiful interior and ample outdoor seating. They have a separate vegetarian menu. Huge portions! Handmade corn tortillas (machine press)with flour tortillas also available. Re-fried beans have lard :>(

Very fresh salads. Not cheap, but reasonable for what you get.

Good American-Mexican, lots of veg/vegan choices

Separate vegan and veggie menus make it very clear what is safe to order. You order and pay at the front and they deliver it to the table, so take time to look at the veg menus before you get in line.
I had a veggie tostada, which was very large and tasty. My vegan husband had a butternut squash and poblano tamale which was nice as well. We had a guacamole as well with home made chips. Be sure to grab some of the home made salsas from the cart before you sit down. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
Tasty, reasonably priced, great for meat eaters and veggies alike.
