Tasty food - Edit
Nice classy place with lots of clearly labelled vegan options. The service was good and didn’t have the issues previously noted in terms of staff, hygiene or the towels. The food was nice- got a curry and a fig salad. Quite pricey. Have also used the yoga studio here for a sound bath and the cafe downstairs

Good - Edit
Not very much impressed with the food - good, but nothing special. It takes a while to be served. There were lots of waiters but you need to be persistent to gain their attention.

Alright - Edit
As previous reviews have already pointed out, watch out for the wet towels they offer you as they charge for those. I find this practice somewhat ridiculous. Otherwise nice restaurant, ok food (except for the curries, haha ok it’s probably because I prefer Thai food).

Not very impressed - Edit
I'd been looking to trying this place for a long time and my gf and I finally came today.
Read moreUnderwhelmed, both of us.
First the positives: ambience gets an A+. The room we sat in was long with many booths and tables, spotlessly clean with comfortable booths. I also had a wonderful passionfruit-mango smoothie, which clearly had no sugar. My gf had a beetroot drink which she found quite medicinal tasting, not surprising for beetroot.
For our mains, we ordered a pumpkin curry and one other curry, whose name I forget. Can't say they were bad, just very ordinary and not remarkable in any way.
I finished with a purple sticky rice/mango dessert. Again, not tasty at all. The mango was good, the sticky rice ok, but whatever the white coconut milk-like substance was, was truly not good tasting to me.
And finally, the waitstaff seemed totally disinterested. They brought my dessert, with all our dirty main serving dishes stacked on the table. Not that they were busy, two waiters stood around within 20' of our table and made no move whatsoever to remove the dishes.
I'll give them that I may have just ordered two of their least tasty dishes, and dessert. Try them out, you may have a different experience.
I may go back another day, but it won't be anytime soon.

Even its called a bistro, there's more an upscale atmosphere. I feel very underdressed with my shorts and sneakers.

Good but eh - Edit
I liked my meal of maki rolls, 1 portion of rice with tofu in choo cheese (I think) sauce but it didn’t blow me away. It came to 170k. I went here after reading the comments and while I’d order something from here again I wouldn’t rush back. Maybe it depends on what you order. The staff are friendly and there’s lots of seating. Most of the menu is vegan.

I’ve lived in Saigon for a year and a half and just tried this spot for the first time this week, very glad I did! The menu is big and the food quality is good. I loved the pi bowl and spring rolls.

They have in house made kombucha with coconut water! It was delicious. This place is great for groups. Large seating space and lovely ambiance (although no AC). They have lots of salads and raw options on the menu. Pretty big menu. I ordered the spicy green mango salad and it hit the spot. Great place to eat after the museum on a hot day

Beautiful~ - Edit
The food is creative as they remake many traditional dishes with a twist, I can see their dedication and sophistication in details from decorating the space to the dishes. No chemical additives were used and they source non-GMO tofus. Walking into the restaurant, it feels calming with the warmth from wood and lush greeneries here and there. Very suitable for a chill, small gathering or a family meal.

A wide selection of vegan foods - Edit
This place was really lovely. Had a lot of vegan options clearly marked wit a V. There was so much on offer that it was so hard to choose! So options were a bit pricey for Vietnamese price, but you could do it cheap if you wanted to. With some tofu mains costing about 60,000 dong and a side of rice being only 10,000 dong.

Not as good as expected - Edit
We had high hopes for Pi but felt quite disappointed. The Gyoza were delicious but our mains lacked flavour. The waitress wasn’t very flexible when we asked for no lettuce or cucumber and the food came with them mixed in so we couldn’t separate. Also seemed quite expensive relative to similar places.

My favorite place in Ho Chi Minh City - Edit
Easily one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. They provide a great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are lovely as well! The restaurant is entirely vegetarian and they have plenty of vegan options! Most dishes have generous portions, making this a perfect place to come with a group of people and do lots of sharing -- a great way to try several vegetarian Vietnamese dishes!
Read moreI get Pi for lunch about twice a week and have only been disappointed once and that was just because I didn't like the way they prepared the gyoza, thankfully I got two dishes! Go for their Banh Khot (Vietnamese mini pancakes topped with mushrooms and VEGAN fish sauce). If you plan to do lots of sharing and even if you don't, order it as soon as you sit down before you look at the menu (it takes about 20-25min to prepare) and thank me later😄
The rest of my favorites:
1. Deep fried tofu with chili lemongrass - I am not a big lemon grass or tofu person but I love this!
2. Tempeh and green mango salad - I normally stand by my refusal to order salad out but not with this one, I couldn't get enough!!!
3. Fried cauliflower with sesame sauce
4. Deep fried flat noodles with mushroom and vegetables - I got this on accident once and I am no fan of deep fried food but I love this dish .. mostly for the vegetables but the noodles are great too! I always have extra vegetables and sauce and use it for lunch or dinner the next day.
5. Pumpkin Curry - get it with a side of rice (10-20k)! Don't make the mistake I once made of getting a side of vermicelli instead of rice. Although, it is easy and cheap to fix if you want to try it out.
6. Passionfruit mango smoothie (always)
However, some of the pricing I don't quite understand, like how the stir-fried kale with garlic is 170k when you can get whole bundle of kale for 40k. Most everything is reasonably priced though!
Pros: They use metal straws now, Nice atmosphere , Great portions
Cons: They use styrofoam for take away and delivery, They have less staff on during lunch hours
