Serves meat, vegan options available. Vietnamese eatery with several outlets. Has bahn mi with tofu and vegan mayo (ask for it), a caramel tofu dish, and fried veg samosas. Open Mon-Sat 11:30-20:30.
Tofu Ga kho is the clear vegan option, pad Thai isn’t so ignore previous review (contains fish & eggs). Food was really delicious and fresh. Peanut and caramel ice cream is also vegan and comes as part of the meal deal. Allergens clearly marked on electronic menus. Only suggestion I’d have is to mark the dishes as vegan on the photo thumbnails as it’s a few extra steps to check the allergens and item descriptions. Lovely lunch though and really friendly welcoming staff.
I love the fact that a vietnamese restaurant is located in such a place cause there are mainly bagels and hamburgers restaurants. It was my first time eating there, I took a pad thai with tofu (there were scrambled eggs in it so not vegan) and a bubble tea (black tea, taro milk and passion fruit pearls). The pad thai was really tasty, apart from the tofu which could have been tastier, but it's a tiny detail. I've never drunk bbt before so I can't compare but for a first time I found it really good, even though the pearls were kinda sweet (but the mix of the three tastes waq a good combination in my opinion). I will for sure come back here and try the other dishes !
