Yum yum pho - Edit
Love the Pho Chay! Your server should ask you if you want the vegetarian broth when you order but if not, be sure to specify. #107 is my other favorite. Was so sad when Annapurna left the Solana Center (I live right behind it) but happy when I discovered the vegan options at Pho Kim. Strip-mall atmosphere and styrofoam take-out containers are negatives; I never get it to go.

Not so friendly for vegans - Edit
Beware as some items listed as vegetarian contain fish sauce. Some of the fake meats include egg. Rude staff- when we asked about fish sauce and an allergy, waiter rolled his eyes. Food did arrive quickly.

Vegetarian menu full of fish sauce - Edit
Kitchen staff and serving staff need training on the definition of "vegetarian" and "vegan." I've ordered off the vegetarian menu and twice been served fish sauce with the so-called vegetarian dish. The second time I specifically confirmed with the server that what we ordered was vegan. When it came out reeking of fermented fish sauce, they said they couldn't make anything without it and instead offered an egg noodle dish as the vegan option (which would have been funny if we weren't so hungry). There are other vegan options on the menu (I've had them several times), but the staff this particular day wasn't trained to identify it and communicate with the kitchen. I hope the training improves, as I would like to be able to enjoy a meal here.

Small place, nothing fancy but very very good Pho! They even have whole coconuts. I was traveling so stopping in and getting warm soup and refreshing coconut was awesome. The place was packed for lunch and our service was still fast!
