The lemon grass tofu is fire! - Edit
Enjoyed this so much. Lemon grass tofu and yu choy with garlic. Everything was so full of flavor and with extra chili oil it was over the top! Would love to eat here every time I am in Galveston.

Great food - Edit
Several tofu dishes (waiter was knowledgeable about vegan diet and that lemongrass tofu dish was made with fish sauce and the one we needed to avoid) and mixed vegetable dishes. The rice noodle soup was able to be made with vegetable broth and was delicious, as well as a huge serving. Tofu spring rolls were fresh and tasty, as was the house special tofu dish.

Good option for the island - Edit
Would’ve given it 5 stars, but...We tried this place based on the reviews. Thanks guys, sorta. We fell in love with the lemongrass tofu that was recommended only to find out its NOT VEGAN. ITS MADE WITH FISH SAUCE. However, we were told that the fried tofu IS VEGAN because they have separate oil for the meat and vegan dishes. The flame broiled tofu is also very good and vegan. The food is well seasoned and very delicious.

Cons: misinformed by the staff about what was vegan

Good Tofu - Edit
The flame broiled vegan tofu (my favorite) and the clay pot vegan tofu dishes are good.

So many vegan options! - Edit
Even though this place is mostly known for it’s pho, there are a lot of other vegan options on the menu. There’s an entire section for tofu dishes, and another one for just veggie dishes. The portions are pretty large as well. I recommend the tofu spring rolls or the sesame tofu!

Great food, great price - Edit
Great little Vietnamese spot. I had the Vegetable Pho with Fried tofu and the tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. Both were incredible and reasonably priced. The serving of Pho was huge, so prepare for leftovers. Will definitely visit again next time I am on the island.

great vegan pho - Edit
knowledgeable wait staff who knows what vegan means, and even informed me that the fried tofu was fried in same oil as meats, so we opted for the steamed tofu. the vegan pho (with a veggie broth) was amazing and we should have just got two of this dish. the spring rolls were also great with a delicious peanut sauce.

These guys have a section of tofu dishes. I tried the tofu spring rolls (which were great) and flame broiled tofu with steamed rice. Price was not too bad compared with the rest of the town.

most tofu dishes not vegetarian - Edit
I was just at this pho place yesterday, and though there were a decent number of tofu dishes in their own section that appeared vegan vegetarian, the waitress informed me that all of them except the D6 (tofu and mixed vegetables, which was great) had chicken seasoning (broth I'm assuming) in their sauces. So, ask before you order anything here.

New Menu with More Veg Options - Edit
Pho 20 has the best tofu springrolls on the island but they had been lacking in vegan main dishes on their old menu. They recently changed the menu and added many more vegetarian dishes. We go here all the time for lunch and dinner!

Has vegan possibilties - Edit
Pho 20 has a limited vegetarian menu, but nevertheless can produce competent vegan meals. The staff is very helpful in making sure the meal is indeed vegan. I would and did go back.

Pho 20 - Edit
This place is as good as it's name! The lemon grass tofu is excellent (especially with rice noodles!) They have fresh tofu spring rolls with a peanut dipping sauce that is also very good, I highly recommend it. The vegetarian Pho is rumored to be great as well. Just ask to make sure what you are ordering is vegan/vegetarian, the staff is very friendly and know what has meat/fish ingredients.
