Literally. The magical scents emanating from Philly Vegan waft for blocks. We got the supreme cheesesteak, onion rings with cheese sauce, chhuy burger, and roll sampler. The philly was perfect down to the grilled hoagie. Great flavor, ratio of components…all the things! The cook on the burger was 👌 Portions were generous. Can’t say enough good things.

Yes, the menu is small. The place is called Philly Vegan. You should expect to get a philly cheesesteak here and really enjoy it. And you will—it’s perfectly delicious, very filling, and the staff are SO kind. The food, despite being in to-go containers and being street food, is presented beautifully. Everything on this menu tastes good. The only thing I personally didn’t care for was the milkshake, but I am a milkshake snob.

Mmm… we acquired some Philly Sliders, a Philly Cheesesteak, & 2 Milkshakes with Fries… the flavor was awesome! The red spice blend added on top deliciously compliments the mushrooms, house cheese sauce, and (I believe) seitan filling… for me the mushrooms were an awesome add to the sandwich, and the milkshakes were some of the best I’ve had in awhile. Strawberry & Cookies n’ Cream.

The lentil burger was perfection and I’m not even a big lentil fan. I would definitely order again. The peanut butter blondie milkshake was so good and just the right size. I didn’t care for the fries, and would just get the burger next time or try the Philly cheesesteak or nachos

I got the nachos. Pretty good (ate it all and it was ALOT) but its my understanding that their main specialty is nutri yeast cheese & mushroom blend on everything... nachos, fries, hoagie (steak & cheese), egg roll... I suppose its possible to have it be a different taste sensation depending on how you have it but I can't see myself being in a hurry to go back for that reason.

Such a novel idea - a Philly cheesesteak in egg roll form. Less than 5 minutes off I-95, so worth the stop on a road trip. I had cheesesteak egg rolls and peanut butter Blondie shake. All vegan, all soy-free and under $15!

I ordered the Philly sampler which included the egg roll, fries, and slider. The egg roll was my favorite and quite creative - would never have thought to put Philly cheesesteak ingredients in an egg roll! I was driving through, so the slider and fries were quite messy and hard to eat on the road. This is not health food though - heavy in the sauce and meat replacement (I did appreciate the mushrooms as part of the ingredient list).

Enjoyed the egg rolls, pretty good onions rings(but it’s always a treat to even have vegan onion rings as an option, so thanks for making them)
The blondie milkshake was also a 10 out of 10

I have no idea how they can make mushrooms taste like a philly cheese steak !?! I got the nachos and wow, even my omni husband said to my very carnivore brother "If I had a blindfold on, I'd swear I was eating the real thing" Now that's a real compliment. Great job, we will be back.
