Freshness you can taste - Edit
Having been raised just outside of little Saigon I love Vietnamese food. Phans does not disappoint. The menu is very straight forward and so easy to read, but it was so hard to decide what I wanted, basically I wanted it all. Today I decided on the Bahn Mi. The bread was soft and crusty like it a baguette should be the jalapeno was deseeded and deveined it was not super hot and you could get the flavor, tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside, oh and the picked veggies are like sweet and sour and crunchy and delicious. The thing that makes the Bahn Mi so special.
Read moreThe service was great, the guy behind the counter was juggling it all; phones, order taking, order confirmation before bagging and doing it well with accuracy and a friendly professional mannerism. They understand vegan, when I ordered my sandwich I requested it be vegan with no mayo and he already knew not to ask if I wanted salad or bone broth and gave me the salad. Additionally the customers in line in front of me were rude and he took it in stride and gave them quality customer service despite this.
Pros: Fresh ingrediants, Quality food, Great customer service
Cons: serves meat
