Incredible

I wish I could give this place five stars because the vegan food is an absolute thrill. I love that I can come here with anyone, with any lifestyle or diet, and we will all walk away having loved our meal. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is upscale, it’s just great for a special occasion. It is expensive, but once you see it and taste it, you’ll know why. The food is prepared with love and care and thought. I LOVE PERLE - having been fully vegan for over ten years, it’s always so incredible finding a place like this. I’d recommend a specific dish, but their menu changes and everything I’ve ever had is amazing. Love love love.

AMAZING OPTIONS

There were clearly marked vegan options on the menu, with a separate label for foods that CAN BE MADE VEGAN!! I was able to order the 3 course meal with a vegan dessert and a delightful baguette with seasoned vegan butter!! Will definitely be coming back to try every vegan option on the menu! I love this place!! Honorable mention for the daiquiri that was the best daiquiri I’ve ever had. Everything was beyond delicious

Used to be much better.

We used to love the vegan options at this restaurant but they are getting harder and harder to identify on the menu. The only way to find out what is vegan now is to call and they will read off many vegetable side dishes but nothing substantive anymore. We were even informed tonight the coq au vin can no longer be made vegan. It's pretty disappointing to see the direction they have gone and I doubt we will order from there any longer.

Cons: Expensive, Not much for vegans, Hard to follow menu

Fine dining without the pomposity

A French-inspired restaurant newly opened in Old Town Pasadena. Reasonable pricing couple with great execution. Chef/owner worked at many 2 and 3 Michelin Star restaurants in the past. Would have given 5 stars but Happy Cow app will not allow since it is not a fully vegetarian or vegan restaurant.

Pros: Separate vegan/ vegetarian menu, Mirrored menu concept , Beautiful dining space

Cons: No indoor dining due to COVID-19
