Breakfast at Pequeno café - Edit
Having discovered this vegan café on FB, we wanted to check it out for breakfast. The vegan tofu Benedict was delicious, coffee (flat white) was served with a bite of yummy brownie. Good tactic because we decided to get a brownie to eat later as it was very good. Our server (owner? manager?) was very sweet and interesting. If we are able to, we want to return for the lunch special as it looks amazing.

Definitely recommend.

Food is delicious, tasty, healthy. I had kimchi rice with tempeh and bean purée. Would have been perfect with a side salad or some greens. Also had a lemon cake to go. Almost everything is vegan and staff is friendly. I loved the healthy atmosphere, you can feel they love home made food, dish is beautifully presented and dressing was very tasty. Will go back to try another dish 😀

This is the second location of Pequeno Café e Bistrô (the first one is in Arroios). For those who knew Cabane, this is where Cabane was. Pequeno Café is great for a nice breakfast, brunch or light meal.
Read moreThe food is very tasty and homemade. I love the vegan Benedict toast, which has tofu and a lot of a delicious sauce. Not related to food, but contributing to the experience - the ceramics they use is beautiful.
The only reason why I'm not giving the fifth star is because although delicious, the menu is on a shorter side, so if you don't feel like having the dish of the day, the new options run out quickly (however, I understand how this is more efficient for the kitchen and to avoid waste).
