So so good! I came for the orange chips as I haven't been able to have them for many years now! So finding a chip shop in the black country that does them was great. Whilst I was there I also tried a few things as there were so many options! (See pictures for menu) Everything tasted like it should from a chip shop if you enjoy proper chip shop food you'll enjoy it. I'd probably rate the vegan battered sausage the highest.

Always go there if I can. Their fishless fish is a revelation, so much on offer that you get choice paralysis!

The best battered chips - Edit
Never seen a place with so many vegan options. Incredibly friendly staff, and above all, the best battered chips I've had - proper batter on them, generous portions and not too greasy for a great price. So glad they're vegan!

The Very BEST Chip Shop for Vegans and Vegetarians - Edit
This is definitely the BEST chip shop I have ever been to. An extensive menu for vegetarians and vegans as well as meat and fish options too. I am a vegan and often cannot find chip shops that cater for me but this one really does. All food is freshly prepared and the owner Prince cannot do enough to advise and help you. And the best thing of all which is unusual for most chip shops - all chips are cooked in separate fryers so are completely fine for vegetarians and vegans. Brilliant, friendly customer service and amazing chips - we have to drive quite a way to get to it but we are about to become regulars! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that Happy Cow only allow this for fully vegan and Vegetarian restaurants. It was definitely worth 5+ stars. Thank you Prince and team and see you again soon.

Pennfields have really embraced catering for veggies and vegans with an extensive menu, separate fryers and a good understanding of what vegan actually means. It’s one of the few chippy’s you can have a kebab, burger, chips, mayo on all the things... and you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything because they cater so well for everyone.

It’s not the fastest service but the food is fabulous best chips and curry sauce ever. Prince is a hoot great guy!! Try the soya wrap ridiculously tasty lots of veganaise !!

Best chips ever! - Edit
We ordered chips and curry sauce, battered sausage, and chicken wrap, all vegan of course. There was a small wait while they were cooked fresh but everything was delicious! Chicken wrap especially, and they use veganaise! Staff are very friendly and helpful.
