Outdoor Place at the Harbour - Edit
We were so glad it was a nice enough day to visit this place which is a kiosk with outdoor seating on the harbour. The food is quite simple but decent and well-priced. Friendly staff and a nice vibe. I had the waffle which was a tasty little snack.

I just love coming over here. Despite the wind, the sun was out and then there was the food😋. As always Glenn produced a fabulous onion Baji wrap and a melt in the mouth chocolate brownie to take home. Fantastic views and great friendly service.

Just awesome - Edit
Sitting on the docks with sunshine in my face, a little windy breeze around my nose and the most delicious vegan burger in my hand. On top I had a healthy smoothie. At the table they had the Viva-magazine for reading. You have to go there.

Perfect start for our holidays - Edit
Just arrived to the Britisch Island by the ferry, our first steps on Britisch ground directly led us to this little vegan food hut at the peer of Dover. Very friendly stuff, seats outside, yummy snacks and fruity smoothies with a view to the white cliffs and the castle of Dover, our holidays within the Britisch vegan dreamland can perfectly begin...

Have been meaning to try this place for ages. Finally went today and it did not disappoint! I had a coffee with oat milk and the superfood bowl which was delicious. They have a drinking bowl for dogs too, plenty of seating in a lovely area and friendly service! Would highly recommend.

The best Breakfast-Burrito hands down! - Edit
What a great little food stand. PEK is owned by a lovely couple that owned a vegan restaurant before. Due to the Covid situation they had to close the place and started the food stand on the Harbor food corner of Dover. It’s probably like a secret tip. Their food is extraordinarily tasty. You get smoothies, wraps, burgers, daily cakes and coffee. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos! So please support them if you’re on your way to the ferry.

Wholesome vegan cafe with lots of homemade goodies - Edit
I’ve been coming to Planet Earth Kitchen for a many years. I usually just get a take away. Either grab a slice of cake (vegan vanilla cheesecake is nice) or a homemade sausage turnover, but today I ate in and had an early lunch. A falafel wrap with chips and salad with a chai tea. The falafel and hummus are both homemade and it didn’t cost the earth. My bill was £12.95. Not too bad :)

We do not visit PEK anywhere near enough. They always have amazing dishes, however I do miss their breakfasts! The menu is definitely improving too, last time they had a great curry on there. Also really lovely cakes and desserts. Highly recommended!

Great lunch - Edit
We had lunch at Planet Earth Kitchen (PEK) today and really enjoyed it. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and some great choices and of course it’s 100% vegan. We both had the chilli, one with rice and one with chips both were great and filling. So filling that we had to wait a bit before ordering the syrup sponge and custard which we were determined to have 😉 The desert was just as good as the main course. Going to try and get there earlier next time so we can try the breakfast menu.

Planet Earth Kitchen has a really lovely welcoming atmosphere and good, affordable food. There's plenty to choose from, from toasties and burgers to curry, stew and really fabulous cakes and other sweet treats like flapjacks. Definitely one to go back to to try everything on the menu. The new bigger cafe is a big improvement too as there's sunny outdoor seating and much more space indoors. Great breakfasts too, including a few different versions of a full English plus vegan omelettes. Lots of gluten free options too. They're on Deliveroo too so you can enjoy them at home.

Best Vegan Eatery for miles and miles and miles...Lucky Folkestone !!! - Edit
We arrived not knowing what was to come as we hadn't heard of Plant Earth Kitchen... located in a little 'piazza', shabby chique furniture in outside seating area, clean, no litter around, building and outside eating area 'spick and span' (unlike too many others). Super menu, we came for brunch and chose the King Breakfast.
Read moreThe service was exemplary and all staff were lovely, we waited for our food for a little while, this being a good sign as when served we could see it was freshly cooked and looked super, great presentation, good 'crocks' and cutlery... it was absolutely delicious, we loved it, we had coffee served in tall glass cups, not my preferred option, I like a cup and saucer but this I forgive as the food was great, as was the service, good clean furniture, no litter around... it really has a continental feel.
Finally its worth saying that we returned but sadly they were closed, hence visited another place nearby that 'did' Vegan, hasten to say it was the antithesis of the Ab Fab PEK...
We highly recommend Planet Earth Kitchen, they really have got things sooo right, yes the food is great however service too is uber important as is the area one eats, the furniture and crocks, moreover it goes unsaid cleanliness is crucial. We will be visiting often as we are fairly local, we wish them huge success cos they sure do deserve it...

OK - Edit
What a shame we couldn't experience this place as an eat in customer as it looked like a very clean and calm place to eat. Obviously with lockdown we couldn't do that so we ordered in advance and collected our food.
Read moreThe portion size was perfect and presented in neat little cardboard boxes which was nice., and it was ready for the time we were told to collect. The cheeseburger was OK, nothing special, very sloppy and messy and the chips were terrible, they tasted like the cheapest frozen chips you could ever lay your hands on cooked in old oil. We ordered using Groupon so luckily it was half price, we would have not been happy to pay the full price.
We might try again when it reopens properly due to the good prelockdown reviews but we have had much nicer, better quality food locally...disappointingly just ok overall.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Not great quality food
