A great place to make animal friends and learn about the plights of animals raised for human use. Meet pigs, cows, chickens, goats, and a turkey!

Connect with animals, nature, and living compassionately - Edit
Spending time at Uplands PEAK opens your heart to the animal residents and the beautiful surroundings!! You can stay at the sanctuary in an adorable cabin and embrace the experience of compassionate living. Take a look for opportunities to volunteer which will ignite your spirit! There are also Visiting Days most months of the year where you can enjoy the grounds and learn about the residents. Also look for special events like PEAKSGIVING hosted every November.

My Favorite Place on Earth - Edit
Uplands PEAK is sanctuary for all of us. I always go with the intention to volunteer in some way, but spending 10 minutes with any of the animals—I learn quickly how much more they do for me.
Read moreIf you've never been, I recommend starting with a visiting day where you'll get a tour and education on the animals. But I find the most rewarding time there is spent volunteering, because you really get to know the residents and founders. All of which are incredible souls.

Peek in at PEAK! - Edit
Uplands PEAK is an amazing nonprofit. A forever home to cows, pigs, goats and chickens, PEAK has a mission to rescue and rehabilitate abused animals, educate folks on the benefits of a healthy vegan lifestyle, and promote sustainability. Workday Potluck events and Visiting Days, along with other events, happen throughout the year. Check out uplandspeaksanctuary.org for details - you’ll be glad you did!!

Pique Your Interest at Uplands PEAK Sanctuary - Edit
Uplands PEAK Sanctuary is a gem amidst the rural Indiana landscape. Nemo goat and Vegan steer will be among the sanctuary residents who will greet you, and when you take a tour, you will learn about theirs, and the other residents', remarkable stories of rescue and resilience.
