Daily Vegan Pizza Special - Edit
My partner and I eat pizza every Friday and it has been our ritual for about a year now. Since going plant-based I've been getting my pizza fix from Peace N Loaf. They have daily pizza specials and curbside pick up available.

Friendly and good - Edit
A hole in the wall type of place, but worth the trip. People who care will serve you good and different takes on classics.
Read moreThe Carrot Hot Dog was really good and simple. The Bruschetta was really good. And the Pizza was great too. All was written in Spanish, and they were happy to advise and help.
I can not recommend enough, these people really care about food, and everything can be vegan.

Amazing vibe and food - Edit
The vibe here is just awesome. Off the beaten path a bit, we consider this a hidden gem. It's a bit hipster which made us feel so homey here. The menu can change from week to week so we've come here multiple times and tried new things. Amazing place! Definitely a must try for vegans traveling in San Juan.

Great vegan pizza place - Edit
Such a cute little place in the outskirts of San Juan. My family truly enjoyed their pizzas with homemade vegan chorizo and potato/carrot cheese. The staff was so sweet and explained all the specials, homemade juices and pizzas. They were very mindful of the fact that our daughter has a cashew allergy. Great food and great service.

Nice selection - Edit
We had two of the items on the specials menu. The asopao de lentils and the bruchetta with their almond cheese. We got the magic pizza. The two appetizers were beyond perfect and so delicious. The pizza was good but we were sad they didn't have a few of the toppings on the menu that day. A very cute spot with a nice atmosphere too.

Great food & service! - Edit
It's located a little bit away from the tourist areas, but we wanted to check it out after seeing so many great reviews on HappyCow! Menu is in Spanish but staff speak English. We got two great juices, one which was lemon and rosemary and another that was beet-based - both delicious! Our appetizer was the Chori Peaces, a stuffed bread with vegan chorizo and Daiya... so tasty! We tried to order a pizza with vegan cheese, BBQ jackfruit, and pineapple, but it came out with dairy cheese by mistake. The server was very apologetic and offered to replace it. Not wanting to waste food, my non-vegan SO ate half of it anyway and saved the rest for later, while I ordered something else. Glad I got the opportunity to, because what I got was awesome. It was corn macaroni with a sauce made from tomato and mango. When we got the bill, we found out that the pizza was comped, which was very kind. They also sell their own bread at the shop. Overall, a great experience!

Cons: Used Daiya rather than homemade vegan cheese, Extra cost for vegan cheese

Great place! - Edit
We just ate at Peace n' Loaf earlier tonight and had a great meal. Had their cashew & spinach dip, day cheesy peaces, and then took a pizza to go. All of it was super tasty. Also, the woman who was working at the restaurant was super helpful with us and gave us a lot of useful info too. We're just visiting from Portland, OR - but we'll definitely make sure to return again on our next trip.

Loved the crust and the calzones! - Edit
Ate here twice during our stay in Puerto Rico. Relatively easy to find. Small little place, menu is only in Spanish but both times we were there the staff (two different ladies) spoke English well.
Read morePizza crust was thin and crispy and very good. Calzone was delicious. Food is kind of on the expensive side but it is made with healthy ingredients, aside from the Daiya cheese, which is an extra $3! We tried the vegan chorizo...hubby liked it, I thought it was ok. Ate the vegan cupcake and it was delicious! Unfortunately they were out of them the second time we came.
Pros: Vegan Pizza & Calzones!, Pizza Crust is delicious
Cons: Price, Menu in Spanish

Healthiest pizza I ever had! - Edit
This is an awesome place. I went here during Feb 2014 twice. Both times, I was very happy. The owner is really passionate about organic and healthy food. It shows in the quality of the food. The sprout toppings on the pizza was amazing.

Like a slice of Portland, but not in Oregon - Edit
This is not along the tourist paths.
Read moreThe server was very helpful, translated everything & made recommendations. The menu is not large - they focus on making a few good things.
We had a large veggie pizza with a thin & perfectly textured crust and Daiya cheeses. It was delicious, but not a large enough meal for three adults.
She also served us drinks that turned out to be several dollars each but were very unique - one was lemongrass infusion and the other was toasted sesame (I wouldn't have thought that would taste good, but it did).
If you bike to them, they give you a discount. Parking is haphazard along that street.
Don't assume it's closed if you can't open the door on the first try. The server needs to notice that you're there and ring you in.
They have a small collection of games (dominoes & such) and some reading materials (I learned about native trees while waiting for the pizza).
Friendly, welcoming, and it's also a bakery. If you're staying in San Juan for more than a few days, learn your way to Peace n Loaf.

Great new veggie friendly pizzeria! - Edit
Ive been to peace n'loaf twice to get their magic Pizza which is excellent! all their bread and crusts are artisan and made on site. Very nice and crunchy crust. I had some artisan bread with garlic with a side of vegetarian sausage, a Magic Pizza with "chayote cheese" (chayote aka christophenes), and a glass of ginger iced tea. Pure bliss and the staff was super friendly! Highly recommend it.
