In Dog We Trust - Edit
In all honesty, I knew going in that I was going to rate this place highly simply because of the clientele. So on that note, before I get to the food, let’s have quick review of the most important part: the dogs. In my eyes, pretty every single one of them is a four-legged, fur-laden angel, so they all get an automatic ten out of ten, but the clear winner this day was Franklin (a moniker I bestowed upon him), the Pomeranian. To say I was besotted by this fluffy little king would be an understatement, I could have sat and watched him all day. Alas, I had a show to catch, so an hour or so would have to do.
Read moreNow, to the food. As you may have guessed, I would have been happy eating cardboard given my surroundings, but I am beyond delighted to report that what actually got was pretty fantastic. Firstly, narrowing down my selection proved to be far more difficult than I thought given the impressive range of options available, especially with regards to the desserts. The bread basket, with its fine selection of accompaniments, was an excellent way to kick things off; the gluten free bread in particular was outstanding. Next came the cheesy vegan wrap, a dish that while not overly substantial, still gave a very satisfying hit a flavour. Then it was time for the sweets. Having agonised over what to get, I couldn’t resist the lure of the pecan date cookie and peanut butter blondie. The former was good, a touch dry at times, but saved somewhat by its gooey, liquid centre. As for the latter, this was the absolute star of the show (the Franklin of the Food, if you will). It delivered on all the favours and textures that it promised, and it was a decent serving, too….my word, it was good!

Decent selection of vegan items - Edit
One of the few places in Dubai that have a well labelled menu with many vegan items to choose from. They also have a very nice soy cappuccino.
Read moreWe ordered the waffle and PET (or PAT?) toast which was tofu scramble on pumpkin mash. Both were really nice but portion sizes were a bit small. Best to order a side or a salad to make the meal more filling.
Pistachio cake was ok.
Will definitely come back again.

Vegan foods friendly ; the foods and beverage are just amazing with both vegan and non vegan foods plus gluten free options... tried the almonds croissant, Ala Benedict eggs, I must say, they taste perfect. don't forget the quality of their coffee... amazing!
Pet friendly Cafe ; don't be surprised if your next table guest is a cute furr baby.
Pet spa : they use ozone water and organic shampoo plus the perfume smells like herbs and so soothing -doesn't smell strong like other grooming place. And from a clear window I can see how experience the staffs in handling my furr baby. they gave my cat a scarf and did photoshoot. thanks to Elie and Rita (the owners) for sending me his pictures too
