Excellent vegan Thai food! - Edit
Really not sure what all of the negative comments are about, maybe a change of menu as nothing was labelled vegan. We ordered the massaman and green Thai curries with tofu - both were excellent and neither had egg or any other animal product.

We ordered two vegan dishes that had the vegan mark on the menu. We specified that we are vegan when ordering, and that we dont eat anything from animals. The dish came with small pieces of scrambled egg that we didnt notice until after starting to eat.

Do not know what vegan is! Very bad experience - Edit
After reading so many good reviews, we gave it a try. The menu clearly states what is vegan, vegetarian and not vegan, that seemed promising, it WAS NOT! We ordered our meal with tofu and vegetables and repeated to the waiter we are vegan, so no meat, no dairy products, fish sauce or eggs. The answer was, yes, yes, vegan. See the pictures attached
Read moreAfter the meal came, we started to eat, and it was then we noticed some pieces of what seemed to be egg. Called the waiter and they said it was chicken. We said, no, it is not chicken. After a while, comes another waiter and tell us that it was egg. We were very disappointed, very sad to only have noticed it after we had started to eat it. The owner came and apologise and referred that we would get a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Inconvenience? 😔 we were so disappointed with the whole situation, that the owner, only then, mentioned that we would only pay for the drinks....
We talked with the owner and showed her the menu where it says what is vegan and not vegan and mentioned that if an establishment does it, it needs to clearly know what being a vegan is, otherwise people will believe that the meals are actually animal free!
Do not recommend this place to anyone. True it has a nice view, but a million others in this beach also have, and there you can find something vegan to it.

False vegan labelling, food too salty - Edit
Nice aesthetics and set up by the beach but the food took nearly and hour (and it wasn’t busy) and the pancakes were falsely labelled as vegan when it turns out there is egg in them. The vegan full English hashbrown was so salty that we couldn’t eat it, the chef must have put a whole salt shaker into it. It also came with butter…. Which isn’t vegan….

Christmas Day dinner amazing - Edit
Came here for our Christmas Day dinner and patty’s did not disappoint! Tasted just like home an amazing but roast! The owner was vegetarian for ten years so he knows his stuff! Would love to go back to try more of the veggie food! Right on the beach it’s beautiful!

The setting of this place was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. Lots of things could be veganised and everything we had was SO tasty. Also do great cocktails😄went back a second time. Will definitely be back if we’re back on the island again.

This garden restaurant has very nice vibe and lovely and helpful staff. We were staying in one of their rooms behind the restaurant and were satisfied with everything. (Been there in 01/2020)

I like the atmosphere here mostly, also a good place if you go with a mixed group of people. Service is good. Food is nice too, it's easy to communicate to make stuff vegan, although of course the menu is more limited than in other places.

Large and delicious currys! - Edit
We had the red and the green curry (each with tofu) and both were very delicious. The portions were big so we kind of regretted taking an appetizer afterwards. The staff is friendly and knows about vegan food. Both currys are not labeled as vegan but they can be made vegan.
Read moreSome of the starters are marked with a "(v)" in the menu. There is no legend explaining what the "(v)" stands for and the waitress did not understand us when we asked for it. Nevertheless the menu items in questions could be made vegan.

Excellent little spot, due to it being low season and many veggi restaurants being closed we ate here 3 nights in a row. Really tasty Thai and western food, would recommend the veggi burger or the cashew tofu

Serves lots of veggie dishes (as there’s lots of dishes with tofu and you can remove egg or whatnot to make vegan). I had the tamarind tofu and rice. The tofu was nice and crispy and the crispy shallots were amazing. My gf had the club sandwich with tomato and avocado (no sauce, as it was thousand islands) with fries. The fries were actually potato and sweet potato wedges and were really nice and fresh. It was a lovely atmosphere too.

Read moreI’m a vegan who doesn’t eat mushrooms! Go figure! The veggie (vegan) burger had mushrooms mixed in. On telling them this they said they could just make it without. The chips were all made from fresh, not frozen from a bag. Even the roll was the best too! Lovely atmosphere too. Nice to see some effort to the bar and surroundings!
There were also nice tofu dishes on the menu away from just adding these to Thai curries!
Pros: All freshly made , Good and different vegan options , Lovely surroundings
Cons: Expensive for Thailand. More U.K. prices

Excellent vegan food! We ate there two nights in a row! Spiciness level is great (finally our first real spicy dish as per our request). Very friendly staff with lovely cats around.
