Tasty snack - Edit
I like grabbing a patty whenever I’m on the run at the Eaton Center and need something quick. $2.29 for a single patty - can’t beat that!
Read moreI recently tried the coco bread for the first time. Had no idea what to expect but they basically sandwich the patty into it. Carbs galore, but very tasty!
I usually have peas falling out of my patty so make sure to have a napkin!

Good option for a snack - Edit
I was passing by the Eaton center and noticed patties Express. They have vegan/ vegetarian option. I love that it is spicy , I wish they have more filling as you only get to the filling after eating half of the pattie

Finally a Jamaican Patties that is vegan - Edit
I have been always wanting to try the Jamaican patties and I hadn’t found one so far that were vegan, there are some that get with veggie fillings but the outer crust is made with beef suet and so unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans

The outer layer is crunchy and inner is filled with veggies in almost a gravy consistency. They are always served hot and you have to be careful when you buy them. Better wait for at least a couple minutes. The only complaint I have is although they it is “spicy” and I can taste habanero, but still not spicy for my taste. I wish we could get an extra spicy vegan as well.
Have tried with the Coco Bread which is vegan as well. The bread is pillowy soft and the patties with it is just amazing.
Pros: Jamaican Patties and vegan!, The patties are always fresh and hot, The coco bread goes good with the patties as well
Cons: Wish there was an extra spicy version
