Everything was unbelievable. I wish I could go back many times over and try the whole menu. We had a salad and veg side to start. Don’t let the simplicity fool you - we would have been satisfied with just that. I loved the pumpkin ravioli and my husband loved his stroganoff. We took leftovers home so we could have dessert. The ice cream was the best vegan ice cream we’ve had. The hazelnut flavor was to die for. We have a night at the end of our trip in Barcelona and there is no question about where will be having dinner again!

Visited with my two non-veg friends and we loved this place! We tried the vegan carbonara (my personal favourite!), butternut squash tortellini and the pea ravioli - they were all delicious. The best part was the complimentary bowl of cashew parmesan which was a great addition to our meals, melts into the pasta just like real parmesan! The staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations on what to try. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in BCN!😄

It is so delicious! We had the gnocchi as a starter, the napoli and florentine for our mains and the mini doughnut balls for dessert. Everything was amazing! I can't tell you which was my favourite. The rose was also the best rose I've ever had!

Pastan deserves the 5 star rating. I was sceptical about nearly perfect string of online reviews, but the food was very good. The Caesar Salad was amazing and so was the Formentera. Friendly service and great wine too!

This was incredible. The mushroom gnocchi was exquisite. The pumpkin sage tortellini the best of its kind I've ever had. Served with lashings of cashew parmesan, which is basically crack - I could easily eat my own substantial body weight in it. And the Biscoff donuts so good, we had to have another portion. Cocktails great, ambience lovely. An overall outstanding experience. Was delighted to discover it's actually from the UK and I've since been to the Manchester one which is also excellent food.

What can I say - simply amazing!! If you haven’t been, you have to go. Best pasta you’ll ever eat. Small and cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Shout out to Alejandra (hopefully spelt correctly) - helpful and great recommendations to other vegan places. Oh, and the doughnuts are to die for!!

Read moreWe were looking forward to our lunch at Pastan and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. We aren't ones for eating 3 meals but we couldn't resist having all 3 courses. We ordered the vegetable garnish to share for starter, I ordered catalonia and my wife ordered the marrakesh. Then we shared two desserts; the hazelnut and mango ice cream and the 6 biscoff donuts. The hazelnut ice cream tasted like Ferrero roche, unreal and the biscoff donuts were something else!
We regret we didn't take any photos but we just couldn't wait to get tucked in.
No negatives and if we ever return to Barcelona then we will definitely be back!

We were in Italy in May and the food we had at Pastan in Barcelona was better than anything we have tasted anywhere. The staff were gorgeous and friendly and the place had a cute little vibe. We had the gnocchi tapas with pepper sauce and the salad, the stroganoff and my absolute favourite the ravioli and they were all outstanding. From one chef to another, highest compliments.

My husband and I tried to visit the first time we came through Barcelona but the timing never worked. So happy we finally got there. We had the best vegan meal when we really needed to find food. Our server was very cheerful and helpful as well. Definitely hope to be back soon!
