Lovely family-owned tapas bar - Edit
Very welcoming ambience and atmosphere. The staff is lovely and sweet. The food is a mix of classical Spanish tapas style food with some Argentinian influence as well as the classic pizzas and burritos.

Very humble place that could result be mistaken for a typical Spanish bar. Small locale with some vegan Spanish tortilla and Argentinian empanadas on a display.

We shared some empanadas, tortilla, and tapas, and we loved everything. The staff was exceedingly nice and everything we ordered was only 11€ per person.

This place felt like a proper locals hangout which is exactly the kind of thing I miss when travelling as a vegan. The service was very friendly, every dish was explained to us in English which was much appreciated. We had a slice of each tortilla and three types of empanada, followed by huge slices of banana & chocolate and lemon drizzle cake. Everything was delicious and great value!

We had tortilla (the one with chorizo was the bomb) and it was so good, filling and extremely cheap. The owners where very friendly and took their time helping is with the menu.

Hidden Gem of a Vegan Bar - Edit
This is a gorgeous little bar with amazingly friendly owners. A nice mix of local and tourist. The food feels really authentic to spain/Argentina where the owners were from. DELICIOUS!!!!

Fantastic little restaurant. Authentic Spanish food and all 100% vegan! The spinach empanadas were our favourite. We went for dinner and returned for breakfast as it was so good. The owners were extremely welcoming, would recommend to everyone.

Read moreTraveling on my own I sat around and literally could not prevent being involved in smalltalk with other guests and the owners. I went there twice and felt immediately at home. Side note: If you do not speak Spanish at all, you might experience this to be different, since it is not very tourist-oriented location. It actually does not even appear to be vegan at all. To the contrary, it has an old school 80s flavor to it - including a genuine gambling machine and seems to be frequented quite a bit by the elderly locals.
You will get the best vegan tortillas I've found so far. In the morning they offer typically spanish breakfast options and cake, sometimes also more typically Argentinian treats like choripan. Don't forget to ask for the daily specials, if available. All of that is topped by a good selection of wine and spirits.
To sum it up:
Not a place for you if you a) count calories with every meal b) prefer the most organic and handmade veganesque style chai-latte-bistro you can find and c) don't enjoy pop-rock music from the decades when we were young.
Your place if you a) are hungry b) let that espresso frequently be followed by a beer and vice versa c) are fearless in regards to improving your existing Spanish skills in chats with natives.
Pros: Local food well transferred into vegan stuff, Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, Good for all times of day

Typically Spanish Bar and 100% vegan, as she said, you won't find animal harmed here. Really liked that it was just as any other normal Bar you would find here for a quick coffee. No extra fancy stuff, just good food and lovely people.

The cafe was great, everything was vegan and very delicious. We had a great chat with the waiter and he helped us pick out the dishes. Everything we had was amazing. The empanadillas, an Argentinan sausage, patatas bravas, and a brownie with ice-cream as desert.
