Lovely restaurant - Edit
My Mum and I were struggling to find a place to cater for our dietary requirements on our trip to Solihull as she is coeliac and vegetarian and I'm vegan. This place has a full vegan menu and a gluten-free menu although this menu serves food with dairy and meat also. The selection is good and the prices are ok for a nice family restaurant. The items on the menu all have the calories listed on them beside the names on the menu which may be helpful if you need to check that although of course it can make one feel a little guilty or conscious for ordering certain items with higher calories. The decoration in the restaurant is unique and beautiful with a range of paintings on the walls. Attentive and friendly staff and an enjoyable experience.

Saturday lunch time. Super busy as they were 5 staff members down and had suffered a technical difficulty with the fridge and coffee machine earlier in the morning. But wow. Service still amazing and every one of them smiling and providing excellent customer service!
Read moreHad the vegan breakfast which I hadn’t tried before, I was expecting it to be a little larger in so far as there was about a dessert spoon of beans, the greens and peppers were almost non existent. The flavour was bang on though! They also had oat milk where other lounges don’t carry that as standard.

I've been to many branches of this chain and this was the worst. Burger was dissapointing for my partner. My meal was cold and butternut squash was raw. I never complain but I did on this occasion and they said it was correct but would cook it more so it was returned after about a minute in the microwave

For a chain these guys are great. Their knowledge of allergens is great and they can assist with combining the GF and V menu to find something perfect and safe to eat.
Read moreIt’s fairly quiet midweek which is great if you don’t want hustle and bustle but my daughter found that most of their food options weren’t available, so I would now ring ahead to check they have in what I wanted.

Vegans Beware - Edit
I’ve done a full review on google after a visit to them this morning. I’m so upset. I ordered a beyond burger patty to Arrive with my vegan breakfast instead of the vegan bacon (which I personally think is awful) in brief I was served a beef burger. Fortunately I noticed before eating it and asked my husband to try it who confirmed it. The rest of my breakfast was over cooked, dry, cold and no veg spread served. I know of others who have been served butter instead of veg spread at this Lounge also. I love the lounges but today was terrible. My husbands choice wasn’t available and they didn’t tell us until 20 mins after we had ordered and by that time my breakfast was ready so we ate separately. They swapped my burger but the correct one didn’t come out until I’d finished my (already cold) breakfast and it was totally over cooked and dry (took 15 mins to come out so definitely over cooked).

I had the ‘beyond’ cheese burger here and it was delicious, would absolutely recommend it! For dessert I had a nice dark chocolate and orange torte for free as part of their Monday deal. The service was excellent and the people are very friendly too.

Delicious vegan menu - Edit
It’s always a good start when a restaurant has a separate vegan menu. Thank you Lounges, it’s a small thing and it really helps. Said menu is full of delights such as burgers, sandwiches and wraps. A specials board is usually around too with another option or two for vegans.
Read moreI’ve had both their burger and BLT sandwich (both served with chips and side salad) and they were nice and filling. The BLT in particular is STACKED (let’s face it, the B is often the weak link in a BLT) with what feels sometimes like a whole pack of Vbites bacon.
If you like eating out at quirky places, Paramo Lounge (And others in the chain) have you covered. Each sports a unique interior with an eclectic mix of furniture, lights and decorative objects adorning the walls.
Worth a mention is how family friendly this place is. One time eating out with colleagues, a kid busted out the scrabble board just as our meals arrived and it was a really fun evening and it made me wish for a more fun experience like this more often when eating out. Paramo feels very homely and that’s no doubt part of what makes it so popular.
