Not bad - Edit
Went for dinner & had the edamame, agedashi tofu, the eggplant main & the buns. All were pretty tasty. Asked if any of the wine was vegan & was told no so not sure if they didn’t know or just didn’t wanna bother checking.

Poor choice, nice atmosphere - Edit
The vegan options are nice, but if you don’t like them you’re out of luck. Only one or two vegan options available at a time, which are sometimes not particularly interesting (the menu rotates) or sufficiently filling at the price you pay.

Pros: Atmosphere, Delicious
Cons: Expensive, Limited options, Sometimes not filling

Nice atmosphere - Edit
Nice atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon with live music from a woman and her guitar while overlooking the esplanade. Based on the reviews here I tried the vegan entre - on the menu as bbq cauliflower buns but was actually bbq 'pork' buns. Came with a very small side salad which was delicious. The buns tasted very meaty - so much I asked the waiter to clarify if it was vegan. He spoke to the chef and said they looked at the ingredients on the packet. Definitely vegan but not freshly made there. I didn't enjoy eating them.

Cons: Expensive, Not fully vegan

The tyranny of choice - Edit
So there is one entree that is vegan and one main on the current menu so it’s easy to choose. The Barbecued Cauliflower San Choy Bow was light and fresh on the palate and full of subtle and complex flavors. For main the Stir Fried Tofu with Asian Greens was very one dimensional with little contrast between the char from the wok and the soupy black bean sauces. The choice of firm tofu and stork size of the broccolini also let the dish down......just give me a big bowl of the San Choy Bow and an iceberg lettuce next time and I would be in paradise 🙂

Vegan Delicious - Edit
I attended a conference and we had a group dinner in this restaurant. They knew I was vegan, but I wasn't expecting much! Wow, was I wrong. everything everyone else had, I had a vegan version. Yes, yes, yes, and by the sounds of it, my meal was the envy of all.😄
