Good delivery option - Edit
We are staying at a local hotel and ordered soups and salads through delivery. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious. Lots of flavor and a bit spicy. The squirrel nut salad was good but expensive.

Pretty Good - Edit
Food is good, pretty much what you would expect from a soup and sandwich place. Most things can be made vegetarian or vegan. Just went there last week and the kabocha pumpkin stew was phenomenal

Gross - Edit
Ordered a wrap and it was soggy and dripping. I was hoping it might still taste good so I took a bite but immediately ran to the bathroom to spit it out. The tempeh didn't seem cooked properly or seasoned in any way, really no flavor. We did get a refund but I wouldn't spend money here again, this place is too expensive for what they're putting out. Another annoying thing is that even the menu items marked with a v you're still charged extra for actually making them vegan?

Snotty cashier - Edit
I read the menu and came across their dessert section that stood out to me. Their 'Cocoa Bean Balls' are marked vegan and in parenthesis is, 'honey sweetened'. I wondered if it was a possible typo and when I questioned the cashier about it his response in a snotty tone was, "Vegans can consume honey, it depends what your ideology of vegan is."
Read moreAs a fellow vegan I couldn't disagree more. Just to be clear I copied and pasted this from Wikipedia to prove a point, even the ones who are uneducated about the subject can simply look it up and understand the "ideaology" after reading this.
"Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, (this includes by products) particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals." This is the first sentence you'll read if you look up the term Veganism.
Pros: Not many GF vegan options
Cons: Expensive , Food lacks flavor

AMAZING food! - Edit
My family and I stopped by here for lunch, and the food was delicious! They have a lot of vegan options. I had the That’s What She’s Having panini and it was one of the best vegan restaurant meals I’ve ever had. It was very flavorful and comforting. Even my brother, who usually hates vegetables, enjoyed his Wild Mushrooms panini. My parents both had the lentil daal, which they said had amazing spices. If only I could give this five stars!

Delicious vegan soup! - Edit
We stopped at Pangea in Ashland, Oregon, and are so glad we did. The staff person was incredibly knowledgeable about Pangea's vegan options (salads, soups, sandwiches). We got their yummy Indian split pea soup. It was delicious and served with a vegan breadstick. If you're there with a child, they might give them a vegetable activity page!

excellent stop - Edit
First time we stopped here but it won't be the last. They always have vegan options which was why we came here. Food was great especially the Fiesta Black Bean soup and the curried corn soup. I had a wrap and my wife had a salad. Excellent food and service.

Solid place for a great vegan meal! - Edit
Pangea is my go to place in Ashland for a yummy lunch. The staff are very friendly, the food is fresh and healthy, and the atmosphere is good. I love the wraps and soup! If something isn't vegan, just ask and the staff can customize your meal. I've even had them tell me (based on what else I'm ordering) that something isn't vegan and they've suggested how they can change it. Love it!

Nearly anything here can be made vegan! - Edit
Vegan items: the thai'd up tofu wrap, the hummus wrap, the squirrel nut salad, and the cleopatra salad can be vegan (substitute carrots for the parmesan cheese). Nearly everything here can be made vegan. Ask them to substitute hummus or vegan aioli for any aioli or cheese spread. The greek wrap can easily be veganized if you like hummus. Their pesto is vegan and nut+gluten free. They serve chicken and bison/buffalo, but nothing is cross-contaminated (so if you order veg it will be veg). Tofu or tempeh can be substituted for chicken in any wrap/panini. Be wary of fancy sauce names, i.e. alouette = cheese; raita = yogurt. Soy milk is available for drinks. Vegan soup served daily. Cookies aren't vegan but try the coconut rice pudding (gluten free, vegan). bright, colorful, good music, fun atmosphere.
Read morePros: variety, veg-friendly, great music
Cons: requires creativity to eat here as vegan
