Plenty of options

This bakery is 100% vegan and offers a variety of different breads. They have single portion breads but also baguettes and larger rolls.

They also offer sandwiches, cookies and smoothies (among other drinks).

Everything is reasonably priced and the breads are beautifully baked!

We tried the ginger bread, cinnamon and cardamon roll, rum raisin bread and millet rolls.

Nothing was too sweet and everything was soft, fluffy and flavourful! I can imagine the sandwiches being a filling lunch.

*unable to get pictures as we devoured the breads immediately 🙈

Pros: Great breads , Smoothies , Cheap

Amazing neighborhood bakery and cafe!

I would give it 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me 😭
I absolutely adore this place! I came here almost every day during my stay in Tokyo, as it was just down the street.
Their pastries and cookies are absolutely delicious. I also loved the maple latte and spicy ginger drink. The owners were just delightful and so generous, always giving me free goodies to take home.
I’m so sad to be leaving Tokyo—this was definitely a highlight for me—a fantastic morning routine, and I hope to return someday.

Pros: Amazing baked goods, Warm, kind, and generous service, Very close to Kugayama station

Cons: Nothing at all!

Delicious and affordable

I live in the area but had had no idea that this was a vegan bakery until I saw it on the app. So glad I tried it because now this is my favorite bakery in Tokyo. The sandwiches are affordable and quite filling, perfect for lunch. The cute little melon pan filled with coconut jam is super decadent and delicious. Try to go early to get the best selection.

Pros: Close to station , Great variety of breads, Delicious!

Health conscious vegan café/bakery

This is a lovely bakery just three minutes from Kugayama station. It’s well worth a visit even if you’re in the city. Just take the express train from Shibuya station (Inokashira Line). Since I live in the area I visit this bakery at least 2 times a week. The owners are lovely and speak English well enough to answer you if you have any allergies or questions. They have a good selection of sweet and savoury goods: vegan burgers, curry buns, cream filled buns, apple swirls and many more things. Everything is home made and have a healthy feeling to it, even the sweet things.

There is only seating for 4 people.

Charming Bakery with Amazing Bread

This will probably become my new favorite place to visit in Tokyo. It's a rarity to find vegan bread in Tokyo, but this cute bakery surpassed all my expectations. For a small bakery they have a really big variety of products, not only breads and cookies, but many different types of sandwiches and soups, all clearly labeled in English. They even roast their coffee themselves, and it is quite delicious!
We sat down to have the tofu cutlet sandwich, the potato and lentil croquette sandwich, and a bowl of mushroom soup. We also bought a mashed potato bread, a matcha cream bread, a lemon bread, and an orange coconut bread to go - all very delicious! The staff was so friendly and nice, and at the end of our meal they brought us some of their freshly roasted coffee, and they even gave us an extra Pain au fruits to take home.
I can't wait to go back and try all of their products!

Pros: A huge variety of all vegan bread, Amazing friendly staff

Vegan bakery in Kugayama

This is a wonderful little bakery near Kugayama station. Everything is vegan except honey in only a few items.

They have bread, cinnamon rolls, sweet and savoury buns (matcha cream, veg curry, soy gratin), soup and burgers with tofu or falafel etc. They are also a café with some small seating space and have soy milk available.

I come here often and everything I've eaten here has been absolutely delicious. The burgers and savoury buns are especially wonderful!

The owners are extremely kind and friendly and they speak English so they are happy to help with any questions.

I couldn't recommend this bakery enough!
