Lovely neighbourhood café with surprisingly good food - Edit
Oxford House café clearly punches above its weight. "Only" the café of a historical London community house, it's full of life and you can see plenty of locals drop by for a coffee, a chat, or just to watch time go by, overlooking the lovely Weaver's Fields.
Read moreNice coffee and a selection of cakes, some vegan (but all sold out on my visit, sadly), but the savoury chargrilled veg, rocket, roasted tomato tapenade and vegan cheese served with salad and home made house pickles was the real surprise. Full of flavour, fresh and cheap. A very nice option.
If you are in the area and are looking for a nice lunch or coffee break, this is a lovely place to stop by.
Pros: Good cheap food, Friendly atmosphere, Part of a nice community venue
Cons: More lunch options would be nice
