Lizzy is very welcoming as is Trixie the dog 💜 my partner surprised me for my birthday with the 'meals in minutes' cooking class and an overnight stay in one of the en suite rooms you can book. Very informative and fun class whether you are vegan or not, seasoned cook or not. Would highly recommend! The breakfast was delicious too.
Lizzy provides two lovely bedrooms. The breakfasts and evening meals are excellent and I would highly recommend a stay.
It is easy walking distance from Malvern Link Railway Station and is a good base for visiting the many interesting towns and cities nearby.
Great cookery school - personal attention with a very experienced and knowledgable Lizzy! - Edit
I had a great few days learning plant-based street food and plant based baking. I had a great time with lots of advice and help from Lizzy. She really knows her stuff and has lots of experience. I came away with new skills and lots of new ideas. Her B&B is very clean and relaxing - I had a great time!
We stayed at the in house B&B for 2 nights and done a day cooking course in vegan Street food. All I can say is that I couldn't recommend this place enough. Homely and welcoming, Lizzy made us feel like we could ask her anything at any time. We had such a comfortable stay and learned things that will help us in the kitchen for the rest of our lives. Lizzy's cooking courses are not just for vegans, but anyone who wants to learn about food in general. Great food, great company and great value for money.
We had a great experience coming here for the Thai cooking. I can't praise it enough:
-it was informative
-very well organised so plenty of dishes could be cooked in a few hours
-great atmosphere
-delicious food
I particularly enjoyed fritters, tofu kebab with sweet-spicy peanut sauce and pad Thai.
We missed the first date due to train problems and Lizzy just let us re-book without any extra pay.
We will definitely come for one of the other courses. Thank you Lizzy
Bed and Breakfast great as ever. This time I had the banana pancakes - twice!
We did the Thai cookery course which was really informative and ended with eating what we had made! Previously done a desserts course and Mexican. Lizzy always makes us really welcome. Highly recommended. We will be back again.
Just back after a fantastic day learning how to make bread .
Izzy is a brilliant teacher even for a complete novice like me. Very relaxed lovely food and small groups make it a perfect way to learn. Can't wait to do my next course
We enjoyed a couple of nights B&B plus a delicious evening meal on the first night (only £17 for two courses, definitely recommended). The breakfast pancakes with banana were particularly good. Lizzy is a great cook and I would love to go back and join one of her courses.
The room was comfortable with a good shower. Lizzy was incredibly helpful giving us tips on places to eat and walking routes. The Malvern Hills are easy to get to and we enjoyed some lovely walks with good views.
We stayed at the B&B and also did the vegan dessert course. Just loved it. We also booked the evening meal which was to a very high standard. Lizzy is great and very well organised and knows her stuff. We were never bored and got to take home enough desserts to last us for over a week. I would definitely recommend the B&B and the courses.
We were lucky enough to be gifted a night at Lizzy's B&B and a dessert cookery class. Both were wonderful. The food was excellent, Lizzy was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we got there.
I have attended many courses with Lizzy in a bid to broaden my knowledge about food and ingredients. Excellent results every time great company too and fab learning environment.
My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and to attend one of lizzy 's cookery courses. The bnb was lovely with a generous breakfast in the morning with an impressive range of vegan options.
The day long cookery course focused on
Middle eastern vegan food and was fantastic. We cooked and ate a huge range of seriously tasty food and at the end of the course boxed up the left overs to take home. Very enjoyable and informative . Would definitely recommend
I attended one of Lizzy's courses a few months ago - dairy free baking. All of Lizzy's cookery courses are vegan.
The courses run in the kitchen of Lizzy's house, which has been extended for this purpose and ends with a lovely conservatory, which is where we lunched.
There is a limit of 6 people on each course, so it remains relaxed and friendly throughout, with everyone helping and advising each other. Lizzy is an experienced cookery demonstrator and has performed many demonstrations for charities such as Animal Aid.
After a brief introduction and coffee we watched a cookery demonstration, and then chose what we wanted to cook. Lizzy supervised us all and advised us when necessary.
After the first cookery session, we had lunch, which Lizzy had made earlier; a delicious tofu and spinach quiche with salad. After another coffee, the cooking started again.
We left laden down with goodies which we had made: chocolate brownies, Victoria Sponge Cake, Lemon Drizzle cake and sweet samosas (they were my choices, other people baked different cakes). We were also given a booklet with all the recipes in for everything that we could have made.
A fun and interesting day was had by all, and I intend to attend another of Lizzy's courses in the near future.
