Enjoyed the Dirty Vegan, more options would be nice - Edit
Only two options here if you’re vegan, but the one I had I did enjoy. It probably won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I was a fan. Drizzle on some chili oil and a little sprinkle of salt for an extra kick of flavor.
Read moreCrust is airy and light with a nice crisp, snappy exterior. It sits somewhere in the wide chasm between an NY style and a Neapolitan pie.
Would be nice to see them add some more options here, though. How hard is it to just keep some Violife on hand for a vegan margherita?

Delicious Pizza - Edit
Very nice pizza with vegan feta (probably cashew), tomato and rucola, with some olives thrown in. And a bit of sriracha. Good, thin dough, good materials used, generously but not overwhelmingly, and with an excellent result. I enjoyed it.

I was hesitant at first to try pizza with a Belgian twist. As in my head pizza can only be the Italian way. But ever since going there we haven’t gone to any other pizza place. There are vegan and vegetarian options. The dough is light and crispy. And the menu is fresh and original. Also a lot of none alcohol options for drinks. But for the beer lovers a lot pizzas get paired with special beers. Friendly staff. In the winter there is a heated terrace and in the summer there is an extra terrace in the sun and shade. Anyway for us it’s a big winner.

Very hip (student) place in a good location near the MAS museum. They offer a few vegan options, which are very original flavours combined. Very refreshing!

I ordered the "No cheese go nuts" pizza. It was a very tasty and nice pizza. Much better than the ones of the big pizza brands. The dough was really crunchy and "light" to eat. I am a big fan of the special sauce that they putted on top of the pizza!

The flavors sound very nice but do not translate at all on the plate. The bases are basic for a pizza place. We had a patch of very obviously non vegan cheese on our vegan pizza. The staff dismissed this as not being possible. We are vegan and we know fermented cow lactation when we smell it.

Original pizzas, and the vegan menu is growing, they have now 3 completely vegan pizzas on their menu!
Read moreBut last time we ordered the pizza with spinach but this wasn’t washed very well because we could just feel the sand of the not so well washed spinach between our teeth, made us completely loose our appetite.
Its also a bit pricey and we had some problems with delivery once, but this was set straight right away with one phone call (ordered 5 different kind of pizzas, but they just forgot the vegan pizza).

Read moreTwo of the pizza's were really great, don't remember the names though. But there was one without tomato sauce (only sweet potato base) and that was quite plain, don't recommend it.
The dough is made by using Duvel, a typical Belgian beer named after Satan. Don't ask why, I have no idea. The pies are definitely good but I would prefer Neapolitan styled dough over this any day.
Pros: Decent choice of vegan pizza's , Delivered to your door by Deliveroo
Cons: Dough could be improved, Sweet potato pizza is quite plain

Unusual pizza – you have to try it! - Edit
OTOMAT is not your typical pizza place, but they reinvented the pizza! It is a chain restaurant. They put beer yeast in their dough. They have very unusual toppings. When I was in Belgium, they had three clearly marked vegan pizzas. I tried all of them on different occasions.
Read moreLas Vega: a pizza with a very spicy Indian-curry-base, topped with spinach and mushrooms and a soy yoghurt-sauce and coconut flakes. Sounds strange, tastes strange. You really need the yoghurt and coconut as opposed to the very spicy sauce. I wouldn’t order this pizza again, but it was an experience.
Mega Vega: a pizza with a carrot base, topped with kale, cauliflower and mushrooms. Very mild. The “boring” and healthy option. Not my favourite, but would order again.
Dirty Vegan: a pizza with tomato base, seitan-gyros, different onions and gherkins, cabbage and garlic sauce. I really love this pizza!
The pizzas aren’t cheap at 14 to 15 Euros each. At OTOMAT they also have a great selection of Belgian beers, and every pizza comes with a beer recommendation. (But you can also get wine, soft drinks or homemade lemonade).

I ordered two vegan pizza regular size and ate them both in one sitting lol. Could served 3 people but I was full lol very satisfied with the quality and taste! Staff was friendly and got served quickly! Highly recommend trying it out!

They offer three vegan pizza's, of which not one of them is close to a 'normal' pizza in my opinion. The toplings are too I teresting for my taste (don't like pickles or kale on my pizza) I decided on the Las Vega in the end, but this was way too spicy. I let some other people in my group taste (Who love spicy food) and they agreed, so it was not just me.

Cool pizzeria that bakes their pizza dough with Belgian beer! They have 3 vegan pizzas to choose from which all have interesting toppings. I have tried 2 out of 3 of them so far and they were both delicious! I had the lunch deal recently which came with a side salad and they offered to dress it with a vegan garlic aoli instead of the usual yogurt dressing which i really appreciated.
