No labeled vegan dish, but vegan pasta on request - Edit
We went there for dinner quite late, half an hour before the kitchen closed and without reservation. Although they do not offer any vegan dish on their menu, they were very helpful and came up with two sorts of egg-free pasta (labeled as gluten free - linguine and pici). Their tomato/garlic sauce is vegan and on this evening they also had a mushrooms sauce as a daily suggestion. Three of their side dishes are vegan and we particularly liked the roasted vegetables.
Read moreDon’t get us wrong: there is nothing vegan about this restaurant, however, since Montepulciano has extremely limited vegan options (fresh pasta is usually made with eggs) this was a day saver. The setting is great, the staff very friendly and the food was very tasty.
