Make sure you reiterate what you mean by vegan, because their vegan things will still offer non-vegan products. Their shakes were awesome, I loved the banana and cinnamon shake with soy milk.
Read moreI also got the tofu burger which was nice but wished that it was just one fried tofu patty instead of just some cooked pieces of tofu; basically a tofu sandwich in a burger bun. But the fries on the side were a nice touch!

Organica is a very cute little restaurant with some good vegan options. We had the vegan burger and the Spaghetti aglio e olio which both looked not super impressive but tasted really great! Prices are okay. There were also two sweet cats that live there I think ☺️

I had the vegan tempeh sandwich which was pretty good (not sure the sauce was vegan though). My husband had the pizza with vegan cheese, but couldn't taste the vegan cheese at all. Pizza was average.

We had the vegan quinoa bowl and jukut jukut, both very tasty and portion sizes were good! Nice ambiance also. Only negative thing is the price, but then again we had lots of different fresh vegetables in our dishes so it's partly understandable.

Could have a few more vegan options but it was okay. I had the vegan bowl which was to come with tofu and tempeh but it came with just one bit of tofu! They do have vegan doughnuts available sometimes which are good! They also do pizza but I didn't see if vegan option there.

I thought the menu was pretty pricey compared to other local restaurants but it was nice to have many choices. I tried the vegan bowl, it wasn't very flavorful, a bit bland, but it was fresh. The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of tables.

Cute place with lovely decoration and very friendly staff. We had the vegan curry and vegan nasi goreng. Both was delicious with great taste. Nothing bad about this place. Totally recommend it.

We came here for lunch after arriving on the island and the coconut, cinnamon coffee was delicious! and the waitress was very nice and friendly. However we both ordered veg fried rice and asked if it was vegan we were assured it was but when it came it had egg on top (so even though they serve vegan food they dont understand what vegan is?) also the only seasoning in it was black pepper and it was the most expensive we have paid for it so we didnt return to try anything else off the menu.

I just had the vegan curry and was very happy. Creamy and coconuty, no MSG.. The black rice dessert is also yummy and pretty. There are a couple more vegan options, but I wish there were more!

We were super happy to find this cute & lovely place. The owner and the stuff is very friendly. As we’re coconut-addicted we ordered two coconuts - they’re just so much nicer if you serve them cold :)

The food was fresh, healthy and delicious; tasted like a good homecooked meal! We also had soy milkshakes which were amazing. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, we felt very comfortable there even though we were the only people in the restaurant most of the time we were there! Highly recommend😄

Really didn’t enjoy our meal here. The food was bland and tasteless. We didn’t feel very welcome either - the main lady seemed to be annoyed we turned up whilst she was gossiping with her friend. We had the tempeh nasi goreng and some chips. Chips arrived way after our other food. We only came here once and didn’t return. Shame as it was right next to our hotel.

Delicious and organic, finally! - Edit
Organica is run by a lovely, super dedicated vegan chef. Her restaurant is still very new. She told us the need to still include animal products like eggs and chicken in some items is simply out of a need to survive. Being a vegan herself, and growing a lot of the herbs and veggies herself, she has found there is not yet a critical mass of vegans on Nusa Penida Island to be a vegan only cafe, yet. She was so keen to share her knowledge of health with us like how to detox with local berries and herbs, how important it is to consider what you eat to live your best life. Just wonderful! Please visit this wonderful, delicious, friendly restaurant and support their startup!

Perfekter Ort um im Norden von Nusa Penida lecker zu essen und ein wenig zu entspannen vom stressigen Verkehr. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und helfen auch gerne mit nützlichen Tipps rund um Nusa Penida weiter. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und für jeden ist was dabei. Das Essen wird frisch gekocht und schmeckt sehr lecker. Es gibt einige vegane Optionen und die Besitzerin hilft einem auch beim veganisieren von anderen Gerichten. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

The owner of the restaurant is vegan and she will cook the food according to your diet. She has a farm where she organically grows a part of the ingredients that she uses to cook. She speaks very well english. Her food is tasty and fresh. We really enjoyed the fresh salad, the delicious drinks, the local food as well as the pasta! Yum!
