Fabulous Co-Operative - Edit
One Planet Co-Operative is a community owned co-operative, with an emphasis on ethical, fairtrade, sustainable, vegan and vegetarian products. I love the bright, colourful exterior, which really catches your eye and stands out in the row of shops either side.
Read moreOne Planet produce a bi-monthly newsletter and I was pleased to see their commitment to reducing plastic usage, offering customers the option of refilling products like laundry liquid, conditioner and hand wash.
There is a good range of stock, from teas and coffees, rice, pasta, canned and bottled items, seeds, pulses, chocolates, plant milks, household products and toiletries, to many to name here.
I had a chat with Katy who was managing the shop today, who explained their membership scheme and it was interesting that not all members are local, as seen on their website, with members as far afield as Plymouth and Dublin. I will be looking at signing up as a member
