That Sauce will anything and everything make yum - Edit
Well the momos are great. The sauce they use for the momo will hook you up. Usually non veg people would rather not eat veg momo. But this one is different, my non veg friends appreciated the taste. And another nice thing is that the owners are vegeterian themselves. But I need to caution my vegan friends. Because as of now, they serve two main types of momos . One is veg momo which is vegan but another one is paneer momo. And paneer has almost same texture and look of tofu. But it is a dairy product. So only one type of momo is vegan in this place. If you are vegan and planning to visit. Just order a veg momo. The good thing is, the veg momo is cheaper than paneer momo.
Read moreI plan to suggest them to add another type of momo in which they use tofu instead of paneer. That would be perfect.
Pros: Affordable, tasty, clean place & clean plates, quick serve(usually under 2 mins)
Cons: location not inside tourist zone

nice veg momo - Edit
I just came here with my Nepali cousin. We couldn't find it for a while so he called them. The whole front of the place is new.
Read moreTasty veg momo I think is vegan and I ate the sauce which a previous review says is not vegan but I don't see why not. My wife makes momo chutney(sauce) and it has no animal product unless they use ghee but it doesn't taste of it.
Also comes with a very spicy deep red chilli sauce. I ate some it is a mouth burner. Good though.
I ate two plates to myself,about 20.
Pros: Good vegan momo you can trust is safe to eat.Clean
Cons: A bit out of the way of you are a tourist staying

Tiny veg momo place - Edit
Prices have gone up a bit now, 80NRs for a plate of veg momo, but they are really good (and spicy, for Western standards). There are lots of places like this in Kathmandu - the usual ones that serve buff, chicken and veg momo and a few vegetarian ones such as Om's. Even in Dilli Bazaar Sadak there areat least two more vegetarian ones, but this one is clearly a favourite - very popular with locals. They also offer paneer momo now. There's no sign in English these days, but I guess they'll put one up again.

Far from Thamel - Edit
30 minutes walk from centre of Thamel. Just one kind of momo. If you are vegan ask for momo without sauce.
Read more30 RS for 10 momos (06.2010).
