Nice! - Edit
We didn't find it straight away with Google Maps in the small alleyways, but after walking in circles twice we managed. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor area and a small, cozy indoor area. The furnishings and menu look good. We had the vegan pizza, which we liked. The staff are Turkish and very friendly. An older gentleman also spoke fluent German and entertained us very nicely. There was a very tasty Turkish winter tea on the house!

Terrible - Edit
There were barely any options on the menu, I think two? I went for the pizza but switched out some toppings.
Read more- The pizza was missing toppings I had ordered (eggplant and tomato)
- the cheese wasn't melted
- the dough was still raw in the middle (would also explain why the cheese wasn't melted properly)
- there were three(!) black, short hairs on my pizza
- parts of the pizza were completely oversalted (I can manage super salty things, but this was even too much for me)
- the tomato sauce was crazy bland, the few oregano flakes on the pizza didn't make up for it
Honestly, worst pizza I've ever eaten and probably also one of the worst dishes I've eaten in a restaurant.
Service was also terrible and I'm not a person to judge service that's not top notch 5* whatever. Unfortunately, there's not many option in Podgorica that aren't crazy expensive.
Pros: price as compared to other restaurants
Cons: food, service, ambience

Great spot, lovely staff - Edit
I had the vegan pizza and thought it was yummy. Stonebaked base and lots of toppings. Vegan cheese is never great, so I just ignored it and was happy that I could have a filling and tasty meal. The staff were so lovely and the setting around the tree is lovely. I will be going back to try the other options.

Decent vegan pizza - Edit
Went to visit cat museum and saw sign outside that clearly stated vegan food. There were a few different options on menu to choose from. Staff were very nice. We went with vegan pizza with chips. Chips came with a trio of sauces. Pizza was mushroom and aubergine with vegan cheese but the vegan cheese wasn’t the best and tasted a little soapy. But the pizza base was good, seemed homemade, and it was a lovely ambience sitting in the courtyard with live music

A memorable experience - Edit
After finding this restaurant on Happy Cow, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a unique courtyard dining experience with a musician playing the cello. Our waiter was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. We ordered pizza, risotto, chips and the soup. My partner loved the risotto and soup but I found the vegan pizza to be a bit disappointing for the price, even though I appreciate the effort with vegan cheese on it. All in all a very enjoyable experience, I have given it four stars because the setting was so nice.

Good pizza and fantastic service - Edit
Our visit to Ombra Caffe and Lounge bar was truly enjoyable. The restaurant has plenty of seating, so finding a spot is never a problem. It's tucked away in a quiet backstreet and plaza of the Old Town, offering a peaceful escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
Read moreWe stopped by for a vegan pizza, which featured a fluffy crust, flavorful tomato sauce, and surprisingly good vegan cheese. We also had a Greek salad, which they thoughtfully prepared without cheese, and noted that they offer a vegan risotto as well. The salad was fresh and crisp, making it a delicious complement to the pizza.
The highlight of our visit was the fantastic service we received.m by Mustafa and Erdal. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more memorable. Overall, Ombra is a great spot, and I highly recommend it for its excellent food, serene location, and outstanding service.
Pros: Good vegan options , Fair prices , Great service

The pizza was good, not amazing. Vegans in Kotor do not have enough options to be picky haha!

Ombra is in a great location in the old town of Kotor. They have several vegan dishes. I tried the vegan pizza. I liked the vegan cheese they use for this. The dough was not like in Italy, but still a good option and a filling meal in nice atmosphere.

Incredible vegan pizza - Edit
I’m verrrry fussy with pizza but this one was top 3 vegan pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). Husband didn’t enjoy the burger because it was advertised as vegan “meat” burger, and it was mashed veg. Understand his disappointment but I actually thought it was lovely.

A must visit in Kotor - Edit
Probably the best option for vegans in town. The restaurant is beautiful, the menu has four decent vegan options clearly labeled, and the food is delicious. I had the vegan pizza and was positively surprised. The dough was really tasty, not too thin, but not too thick. The vegan cheese was impressive, so good! And the veggies were just perfectly cooked and seasoned. Also, it was the right size for an individual pizza, and the price was fair. Definitely recommended!

‼️🚨 make sure you triple check if the pizza is vegan once they deliver it to you - Edit
Although I enjoyed the talks with the staff and they’re nice and welcoming, I can’t give many stars.
Read moreFirst, this place is in city centre of kotor so of course a very tiny (and slim) pizza is 12 euros at least.
I received my pizza and wasn’t sure about the cheese. I asked if for sure is vegan and they assured me yes.
After some bites, I looked at my friend non vegan pizza and saw the exact same Parmesan. I asked again if it’s vegan. He asked the chef and assured me it is. After few seconds they said it’s not vegan and they will do again a new one for me.
Of course I was asked if it’s allergy or a choice. I think these questions are irrelevant especially when he kind of implied that it’s not a real allergy (although I’ve been vegan 10 years so I’ll get food poisoning from cheese at least).
So yeah, I’m not sure what to say about this restaurant. Again, really lovely people working there, they do have one page with vegan food for “marketing” of course, but I don’t think they treat veganism serious.
I could write much more but yeah, I guess if you’re really hungry you have to go here as they do have almond milk and other stuff, but it’s not 100% safe for vegans.
I cannot imagine ordering VEGAN pizza and I still have to be paranoia about cheese. It’s sad.
They’re from Türkiye. I’m wondering how would they feel to be served piggy 🐷 . And not to mention my reason for not eating cheese is ethical, not biblical

quite okay Vegan pizza - Edit
There is a small selection of vegan dishes. I opted for the vegan pizza with courgette/mushrooms/vegan cheese. The topping was very tasty, but the pizza dough was unfortunately a little dry and burnt on the bottom. To summarise, the pizza was okay. The staff were friendly and the price of the pizza was okay at €10.

Amended to 3 stars after I had their vegan pizza! 😍
Read moreThey offer a "Vegan breakfast" which is a bircher muesli with honey (!) - I specified no honey which was apparently no problem, but I don't think they know it is not vegan then. The muesli was ok but I don't think it was worth 5 €... no fruit on top and the soy milk was warm (from the shelf, not heated on the stove warm). A bit sad really.
