Nature’s Way Organic Shop - Edit
Great natural food shop offering many vegan friendly products. I bought a few local snacks that were displayed in the middle of the store though I cannot remember the name of them. I also bought a different variety of these from the bulk section as well. Nikola was so helpful and very kind. He was the best and most friendliest person I encountered on my trip.

Some vegan options - Edit
I appriciate that such place exist in Kotor, but when I visited in march 2022 there were only a few vegan options. Some chocolates, protein bars, nut butter etc.

Só comprei uma barrinha proteica que tinha VEGAN escrito, era boa.
A senhora não era simpática, parecia contrariada de estar na loja!

A few useful items - Edit
Visited recently (May 2018) and found a few useful items. There are plant milks, really tasty peanut butter and some grains available. Found no seitan as mentioned in the description.
Read moreHonestly, you can find cheaper vegan ingredients elsewhere in Kotor. This place is nice to visit but I wouldn't rely on it for a stay in the town. The small supermarket in Kotor stocks fresh veg, pasta, gnocchi, ayvar spread, pickles etc that are all vegan. Idea supermarket, a 10 minute walk from the city walls has a much wider selection, including plant milks and gluten free items. I would suggest walking there if you're short on money.

They sell almost everything you need for a vegan diet. They also sell freshly baked bread nd sweets, but are unfortunately not vegan. The smoothies are vegan.

Everything you need in terms of packaged organic goods, gluten free stuff, nuts, seeds, coconut water, kombucha, cosmetics, superfood supplements - an absolute gold mine in unlikely Old Town Kotor!

Healthy Kotor - Edit
Great little health store in the old town of Kotor. I managed to stock up on a lot of things, even oatly oat milk! there are vitamins, protein powders, nuts/ seeds, honey etc..Some things are a little dearer in price (some health products can also be bought in another store in the mini shopping mall about 5 minutes away) but this is probably because not everything is cheap here. No fresh produce. The lady who worked there spoke barely any English, but she was helpful nevertheless.

Nature's Way is indispensable for healthy self-catering in Kotor, but it's also worth stopping by for their selection of local/regional sweets and snacks (try the local biscuits on the main counter, which come in several flavors, at least some of which are apparently vegan). They have a good selection of dry staples, herbs, teas, etc., as well as a refrigerator with various items such as seitan made in the region. There are plenty of vegan items available.
