Nope

A restaurant right next to Piazza Bra. They have many vegetarian options but only 2 vegan options on their menu, a pasta with tomato sauce and a plain marinara pizza. I had the pizza and the sauce was really bland. Did not enjoy it.

Surprisingly good

As other people described, there are really only two options. The spaghetti and the pizza. Because I couldn’t decide I got both. Other people seem to think the spaghetti was better. I thought the spaghetti was fine, but I thought the pizza was fabulous. I got it with vegetables. The crust was wonderful. The sauce was wonderful. The vegetables were wonderful.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, The pizza crust was wonderful

Gets the job done

Nothing outrageous as other reviews have noted. 2 options - vegan pasta or vegan pizza. Was quite plain but did the trick, and is in a popular area.

Beautiful sauce

Limited options but clearly marked and the most delicious spaghetti sauce I had! It somehow tasted creamy and so smooth despite being just tomatoes. Staff was helpful picking wine pairings as well

Pros: Delicious food, Clear labels

Cons: Limited options

Specifically good spaghetti

For a plaza restaurant, exceptional. Spaghetti al pomodoro was so good I ordered a second bowl. Open late, nice waiters, clear labels, idc if it’s for tourists, I am one.

Basic but brilliant

Limited vegan option but the pasta sauce was best I have had! Definitely recommend with an amazing view.

Great location, basic option!

Great location with lovely atmosphere, clearly labelled vegan options although very basic (pizza with only tomatoes) but convenient when visiting arena

Very good Italian food but only basic

It’s a beautiful place with the arena as a view, you get bread as a starter and the few vegan options are quite clear in the menu (the waiter also told us about the ingredients of the bread and made sure there was no cheese on our dishes when we told him that we were vegans). The vegan food is very very basic but gosh it‘s good! The waiter was not very friendly but he did his job.

Pros: Sehr gutes Essen , Portionen angemessen groß, Toller Ausblick

Cons: Sehr wenig vegane Optionen, Eher langweilige vegane Gerichte , Service mittelfreundlich

Great Lunch

Had the spaghetti for lunch, and while there were only a few vegan options to choose from, it was nice to have a place to eat so close to the arena. And I thought it tasted really great!

Pros: Taste, Location

An ok option

Only had a few vegan options which were very plain (plain tomato pizza or pasta), however these were both delicious, just not super exciting!

Not good for vegans

only 2 dishes labeled vegan: pizza marinara and pasta with tomato sauce. not even a vegan labeled salad, can you imagine. atmosphere feels anonymous.

Basic and too many wasps

I ended up with marinara pizza and a side dish of vegetables. It was ok but I've had better from a take away in Italy. Then there's the wasp problem...loads of them flying round you as you try to eat .I'd covered my drink with the napkin but one still managed to get in and swim in my drink. Tbr waiter took it away but still charged me.

There was also a basic pasta with tomato sauce if you didn't want the pizza.

Pros: Central area

Cons: Not many options , Staff not helpful , Lots of wasps

Disappointing menu, didnt go in

I found it via Happy Cow but other than a basic tomato pizza without cheese I couldn't see anything on the menu I could eat and staff standing about didn't seem interested. I was here in February so maybe it improves In tourist season but honestly there are so many great places I don't think this really makes the grade

Pros: One cheese free tomato pizza or pasta

Cons: Staff not that interested , Menu very limited for vegans

Basic vegan options

Nice location but staff were brash and not helpful. Vegan options are plain pizza with no cheese, spaghetti with tomato sauce.

Clearly labelled menu

Found this place, thanks to the Happy Cow app. The menu is clearly labelled and there were a few different options to pick from. It was great to find somewhere to eat amongst the main restaurant area with a view of the arena. The eggplant hummus was simply amazing!

Pros: Location, Vegan options clearly marked

Lovely food with a view of the Roman arena

A few vegan options including pasta, pizza etc., I had a delicious mushroom, chickpea, split lentil, tomato and courgette dish. It was delicious!

Great location!

I ate here because they have labelled vegan options and I was with an omni. There was hummus, pizza, pasta and a chickpea dish.

The restaurant is situated in Piazza Bra which is stunning and the prices aren't bad for where it is.

Pros: not many vegan options

Cons: incredible location, labelled vegan options
