So good we went twice! - Edit
Booked a table for breakfast on Saturday morning during a long weekend in Norwich.
Read moreWe ordered the vegan breakfast, which was extremely hearty and a pot of tea for two.
Lots of variety on the plate, including vegan black pudding, aubergine bacon, chickpea scramble, bubble & squeak.
We were so full, it set us up for the day, and we enjoyed it so much we went back before heading home on Monday.
Lovely interior with its jukebox and gig posters.
Pros: Massive vegan breakfast , Very friendly staff, Lovely surroundings

Birthday brunch - Edit
I had a birthday brunch here, the big vegan, it was lush all bar the rather odd chickpea scramble. Would def go back. They knew it was my birthday and put a candle in one of my sausages! Cute!

Best vegan fry-up in Norwich - Edit
A friend recommended this place and didn’t disappoint. The local and the staff are lovely and the fry-up and tea just perfect for a Sunday breakfast. Order the big one only if you’re really hungry.

Lovely staff - Edit
The big vegan breakfast has a lot on it and I’ve not tried chickpea scrambled egg before this. The staff were friendly and talkative and the location was great around other things.

What a breakfast! - Edit
We’d been told that the breakfast at Olive’s was on a different level and that’s so true! The veggie breakfast was incredible (and huge!) and the vegetarian black pudding is a complete first for me - delish! Will definitely visit again - make sure you book. There were no slots available online but we emailed and asked if there was space and they fitted us in - so helpful 😊

Nice breakfast - Edit
We had breakfast here while visiting Norwich. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as we hadn’t made a booking.
Read moreThe venue is within a lovely building with seating upstairs and downstairs.
We ordered the large vegan breakfast, which was tasty and huge but I would probably ask not to have the scrambled egg and the aubergine if returning, as these were not to my taste.
We came with non vegans that were also very happy with their non vegan options.
Pros: Vegan breakfast , Friendly Staff
Cons: Not all vegan

So far My Favourite Breakfast Ever!!! - Edit
So we literally stumbled on this looking for a Vegan breakfast while wandering with the app and we were lucky they could fit us in as they turned away quite a few people while we were there. As it stands I would say this is the best vegan breakfast I've had in the 2 years I've been vegan. I went for the Big Breakfast at £11.50 but it felt fully worth it...I love that although this is not a vegan cafe they had fully committed to the vegan breakfast and it included chickpea scramble and maple aubergine. YUM!!!! Other items were sausage, beans, bubble and squeak, blackpudding, toast and fried bread, mushrooms and tomatoes. Truly a FEAST. Am always wanting to try new places but if its a good full englishbtype breakfast I am after then I will go straight here. Friendly service too and there was a choice of oat or soya milk. Also a 'slim' version of the breakfast

Slimtastic - Edit
Recent visit to Olive’s and was very impressed. Had a “slim” vegan breakfast which - as the menu infers - is slim in name only! Great bubble and squeak made a change to the usual breakfast fare of hash browns. Only 4 stars as wasn’t given the option of granary bread, but hey, I’m being picky, tbh.

Incredible vegan breakfasts and milkshakes - Edit
Olives is our 'go-to' place for when we're feeling a bit hungover and in need of a BIG fried brekkie. Everything is always cooked spot on and they use richmonds vegan sausages which is a big plus. Personally I'm not a massive fan of tempeh so I'd prefer to see something like "THIS" vegan bacon on the menu instead but that's just my personal preference. The vegan milkshakes are incredible, we especially love the biscoff one.

I visited here after reading other happy cow reviews. My breakfast was amazing and there lots of choices for vegans. I had the gardener with added smoked tempeh. My plate was totally clean. Really good service too.

Good vegan breakfasts - Edit
A choice of full or ‘slim’ vegan breakfasts - I had the slim - with everything freshly cooked (no congealed baked beans hooray!). Soya milk for tea. They advertised vegan shakes but I didn’t try them - next time! Friendly service. It’s a small and deservedly popular cafe so they warn that you might have to wait as their kitchen can only cook four breakfasts at once, but I didn’t think the wait was excessive at all. And it’s well worth it!

Great breakfast! - Edit
Lovely little place to have breakfast. I had the slim vegan breakfast as I didn't feel up to the big on. It came put pretty quick and it was soo damn good. It was still a good size fryup for a small, with a large mushrooms, veggie sausage, grilled tomatoes, bubble and squeak, and beans. Was lush! I have had the large breakfast in the passed and it is a challenge, will alot more items on the plate, but still amazing. The cafe itself is full of plants and has a really cosy feel to it.

Cons: May be a bit pricey for some, but worth the money.

Wow, what a huge fry up! Portion size cannot be beaten. Lovely vegan fry up consisting of toast, beans, sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and potato and veg hash. It was delicious!

Just to clarify, that’s Buticha- made with gram flour, rather than egg! The vegan breakfasts are, well, vegan.

incredible breakfasts - Edit
The vegan fry ups here are literally better than any you'll find elsewhere in Norfolk. The fairly recent addition of homemade tempeh strips is the perfect finishing touch, and as well as friendly service there's always a very cute cafe dog (Pico!) doing the rounds looking for love while you wait for your food.
