Classic dessert that lives up to the hype

We learned about Old Amoy Chendol from CNA years ago and always wanted to go. When visiting Singapore, this was one of the top destinations for us and it lived up to the hype!!!!!!!!! Totally vegan, amazingly refreshing and delicious, I can't wait to visit again one day 🥲

Old Amoy Chendol

Though it's definitely not the best chendol in town (as their coconut milk, gula melaka and red bean are just ordinary), but their chendol jelly is quite extraordinary, with intense pandan leaves fragrance, at least still worth trying.

Best Vegan Desert!

Tried this place based on the reviews of Happy Cow and it was just excellent. The person preparing the Chendol was a young professional and he confirmed the desert is Vegan. Coconut milk and Gula Melaka with Ice is one of the best combinations. The toppings of beans are an excellent add on to the taste!

Most satisfying vegan dessert

Some desserts are just best done vegan and Chendol is One! Rich and fresh coconut milk as well as thick gooey gula melaka are BEST and most important for chendol. Some places do add condensed milk but i felt that will spoil the taste. Pure coconut milk is best! I love their chendol very much. Everything is fresh including the green jelly and red bean. Taste is subjective but this is definitely for my taste 😋

Rare find!

Chendol that is made with cold pressed coconut milk, azuki red beans instead of kidney beans, handmade green jelly using actual Pandan leaves and not food colouring, and gula melaka for the sweetness!

All these for just $2!
