Pretty good - Edit
Had the tofu yakisoba and spring rolls. Spring rolls were great, fresh, crispy and different sauce than you’d usually expect. Tofu yakisoba was not too bad. Little sweet for my liking. Other than that it was pretty good. Lots of sauce. Ambience of the restaurant was kind of off. Waited super long for server to check in on us to get our bill. Lots of people waiting for seats staring. Not necessarily all the restaurants fault entirely. Very hot inside too. Not my favourite spot in Jaco but not a bad option if you are a vegan with friends who don’t want to go to a fully vegan place. Nice that everything that was vegan was clearly marked on the menu which is always a plus!

Yummy with lots of options! - Edit
My non vegan family and I had a lovely time at Ohana. It was very helpful that all the menu items were marked. We shared some of the vegan appetizers, and I also got some vegan sushi rolls. They do not have any rolls that are vegan as is but they were more than happy to some of the vegetarian rolls vegan for us. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff!

Would not come back - Edit
I like that food is labeled, but it was way too sweet. We ordered the curry and yaki soba and it was like dessert. We also asked about the miso soup and why it was vegetarian and they did not know why nor the difference between vegan and vegetarian. They also remove your dish at the moment you take your last bite, which felt a bit invasive!

Delicious - Edit
Great food, lots of vegan options. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I went there multiple times with both vegan and non-vegan friends and everyone enjoyed the food. Favourites are: portobello skewers (charred), magic mushroom sushi (comes with vegan eel sauce but need to remove kimchi cream to make vegan) and the green warrior salad (best salad I’ve ever had). The only thing on the menu I didn’t really enjoy was the yellow curry, I found the coconut based broth way too sweet. If you like wasabi, the Wasabitini cocktail is a must try, I probably wouldn’t have 2 in a night because it is very intense but it’s really good and unique. The strawberry daiquiri is great as well.

Above expectations! Kudus! - Edit
We arrived at the restaurant according to the recommendations from this site, booked a place by phone - the table waited as invited. The menu had quite a few vegetarian options that could be made vegan and some perfect vegan dishes. The chef knows how to surprise you with flavors and seasoning. High Quality and beautiful dishes, delicious to the palate. We tried almost all the appetizers and could not get to the last dishes.

YES-We'll be back. And would recommend it to anyone visiting Jaco! Kudus!

Well marked menu - Edit
They had vegan options for every section of the menu from appetizers to desserts! And they were able to modify the vegetarian sushi rolls to make them vegan. Everything was delicious although the food was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen given what it was. Good vibes and interesting mixed drinks too. This is good place for light snacks or a full meal

Yummy vegan takes on Japanese food - Edit
Ohana is a great spot for mixed company. It offers several clearly marked vegan options throughout the menu (appetizers, salads, mains, rolls, and desserts). I tried the beet poke bowl and really enjoyed it - beets, avocado, and mango on a bed of sushi rice, topped with a seaweed salad and sesame seeds. Recommend!

Plenty of Options - Edit
Plenty of vegan options here at Ohana all clearly labeled. We ordered the spring rolls which came with a dipping sauce that was fantastic. I also ordered the curry which true to other reviews was delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and order other things.

We ate here 3x out of our 4 day Jaco trip! The coconut curry was thebomb.com & the sushi was very nice! The waitress was kind and helpful. Great atmosphere and perfect dinner spot for after watching the sunset as it’s right around the corner from the beach!

Many vegan options - Edit
My sister and I ordered the vegan spring rolls, beet salad, portobello mushrooms skewers, and mango nigiri. The portobello was a little charred for me, but everything else was fantastic, especially the beet, mango bowl. Great flavors, good service, and a cool, outdoor atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Plus, there are so many options, we have to come back again to try more.

Great vegan sushi - Edit
plenty of vegan options here. There are multiple sushi rolls that are already vegan or can easily be made vegan by omitting mayo or cream. Our server was very nice and showed us exactly what was vegan and everything we ordered was delicious!

My favorite restaurant in Jaco - Edit
As a vegetarian this is my favorite restaurant in Jaco. Lot’s of different veg/vegan option and everything I tried so far have been amazing! (don’t miss out on the “Go green” or “Karma” sushi) I would easily put 5 star but the Happy Cow app doesn’t allow that if it’s not a 100% veg restaurant...

There were a few vegetarian options that we made vegan that were very good. My Omni husband and best friend both ordered sushi which was also good. They said the calamari appetizer was the best calamari they had ever eaten. Our waiter took pictures of us and had a great sense of humor.

5* food and service - Edit
I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I can’t since it’s not entirely vegan. However, both the food and service and incredible here, best we had in Jaco. Try the coconut curry!

best food in town - Edit
It's easy to taste why this is the #1 restaurant in town. The food is SO good and so fresh. The staff are the nicest group of people you'll meet, and they know a lot about their dishes, including special diets like vegans and vegetarians. I am in love with their Coco curry (I got mine without tofu & extra veggies instead). Their vegan sushi is easily some of the best I've ever had. I got a pineapple, orange, and ginger smoothie which was also delicious. Diego, the owner, told us that all of the food is organic and freshly prepared. And you can taste it, too. We've been here a few times on our trip and will go back again before we leave! Vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked on the menu. Enjoy!!!
