Good food if a bit oversalted - Edit
I ordered delivery so can't comment on anything but the food itself. Got a full order of biscuits and gravy and a side order of tempeh bacon and vegan sausage. Everything tasted great at first, then became a little too salty after a few bites. Would try something else next time and not order all these salty items together.

Work towards consistency - Edit
Second visit was a huge disappointment. The biscuits and gravy had so little gravy, the biscuits were dry. Follow up with staff & management didn't help. Staff said they would refund price if we hadn't paid cash but since we paid cash, no refund. Both management and staff suggested in the future, we pay $3 extra for more gravy. Management did offer for us to come back & pick up some more gravy. Since we ordered the food to share with company who was visiting briefly on the way through town after the holidays, the dry, mediocre food was already eaten.
Read moreNo one could answer my main question, which was, "the 1st time (month ago) we ordered a half order of biscuits & gravy with hash browns & tofu scramble, we received twice as much gravy, enough to cover the hash browns and tofu too. The meal was excellent. Is the same amount of gravy used on the half and the full order? What could we do in the future to ensure we get enough gravy? Why should we pay for extra gravy when 1st order came with enough?" I asked, maybe they were running low on gravy, since we ordered later than we had the 1st time? Staff said no, it just depended on who was cooking on any given day. I asked repeatedly if there was any way to talk to the kitchen manager to clarify for future orders. If the half order consistently comes with more gravy, we would order only half orders in the future. "No, said management, there is no way to speak to kitchen." I requested credit for the order, I was told no.
As another note, this site lists the establishment as wheelchair accessible. It is not. The to go pick up window is so high no one can see you and you can't reach the doorbell. I actually had tried on several occasions to order in the past and no one ever noticed me so I moved on. The 1st time I successfully completed an order, it only happened because a Grub Hub driver got the attention of staff and facilitated the whole interaction, including handing in my payment and handing me the food. Even though he was "on the clock" to pick up someone else's order, he took the time to do this. Today, I sent someone else who has legs and a car to pick up the order for me. There is no way for me to get in to the door to go inside unless someone is nearby who can open the door for me. Some of the tables were tall the only time I went in, the maneuvering space was narrow. None of this is accessibility.
OTG has lots of customers, they don't need to accommodate anyone.
Pros: The hash browns, 1st time we ate there was great
Cons: Not consistent. 2nd time, same food, terrible, No support from staff or management to resolve, Establishment not interest in retaining customers

Thank you for mentioning the lack of accessibility. I would be humiliated if I went to a restaurant on my own (which I do all the time since I'm extremely independent) and wasn't able to access ordering and payment on without help.
Read moreI will not be coming to this establishment or ordering delivery from them since they seem to not care about the money from those of us in wheelchairs. Ok. I'll give my patronage to those restaurants that treat me like a full person.

Off the Griddle and Into My Mouth - Edit
I've been here many times, but today, I ordered the Blue Plate. The tofu is well-seasoned and actually "scrambled"--not just unflavored chunks like some other places serve. The hash browns are crispy. The flavorful sausage patty seems to be house-made since it's not store-bought links. The biscuit is a good consistency, but beware it comes smothered in gravy. My only complaint is the few non-vegan ingredients they continue to offer. I wish they would fully commit to veganism, and remove them from the menu.

Sunday Brunch - Edit
Took my fam for brunch and we were able to quickly get a table outside. I love savory takes on breakfast dishes that are traditionally sweet so I was over the moon to see several savory waffles on the menu. I got the Mushroom Melt Waffle which had spinach and mushrooms in the batter and was topped with a ranch dressing and tofu scramble. It was so good. I can’t wait to explore the menu.

Hell yeah - Edit
Now THIS is one of the best vegan breakfast places I have been to yet. Ya'll its sooo good. The waffles are all GF but you would never be able to tell. I love that everything is vegan and the customizations can be made for non-vegan. Nice to see the roles reversed for once 😒. We ate here twice before leaving Portland. Will DEFINITELY go back. They only have one dish with store bought vegan meat and cheese, everything else is made In-House which I looove

Super yummy, lots of heavy food so be prepared. I loved the nacho fries, maybe a bit salty for some folks but I really like slaty foods.

Burrito was good, waffle was a bit underwhelming. Had to wait almost an hour for our take-out food & staff was not very welcoming. I want to come back, but the service/staff left a pretty bad taste in my mouth 😕

I actually had family members who are very critical of my vegan lifestyle asking to come back to this specific place. I’ve never had a bad meal from here—the brisket hash, blue plate, and nacho hash are incredible. Service is good too. Bit of a long wait but worth it.

Everyone comes here for breakfast. The line is huge in the morning, so just be prepared. Food was great and staff are very friendly. They should definitely add more chicken with their waffles as the proportion was way off. Still highly recommend.
