Brunch Pro’s - Edit
Fun, laid back vibes, easy brunch spot with a wide, plant based by default menu! It was fun to hear other people in the dining room modify their meals to include eggs or cheese for a change. Tempeh Bacon is 🔥

95% vegan with eggs and dairy upon request - Edit
The default menu is vegan with vegan hollandaise sauce and cheeses. Can request to sub tofu scramble with eggs or add dairy cheese. They serve brunch daily with seating inside as well as picnic tables outside. Street parking. Tried the meatloaf as I was curious about walnut meat and it was really well spiced and flavorful. Their tofu scramble was actually the best I’ve ever had, they pan fried it until it had a nice crust to it, very delicious. Hollandaise sauce was super yummy. Love this diner as the prices are reasonable and the serving size plenty. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Local artists works line the walls

Friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating, and great food - who could ask for more? First time here and the menu had so many tasty sounding choices! Finally opted for the Full Mess with gravy, and I could not have been happier. Really a great breakfast. I will be back!

Classic vegan brunch. I used to work at the ANd Cafe that was this place’s precursor and it still hits the spot. Recommend all of the brunch items and if you drink, bloody Mary’s

Tasty breakfast and lunch in Foster! - Edit
Our second time coming to Off the Griddle. Great vibe. Great music. Tasty food and nice variety. Public service All advertise that all items are vegan however they will make items with dairy and eggs if requested. Had the tasty brunch wrap with fries and a side of coleslaw. Husband had chorizo burrito. Always a good place for tasty food.

Best breakfast/bunch spot - Edit
Definitely one of the best vegan breakfast/brunch spots in Portland now. Menu has much more than your typical basics. I love the hash and the full mess, and the meatloaf is also great. Good lunch options too. Cool diner vibes with outdoor seating and great staff.

Really really good breakfast - Edit
We ordered the Goddess Bowl and the Blue Plate. Both were great but the Goddess Bowl was the winner. The menu is default vegan but eggs/dairy can be added (bummer). We ate outside on a beautiful sunny day. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and service was fast. Definitely recommended!

Incredibly fast service, pretty good food - Edit
I always like it when a place makes their own meats so they get a star just for that. Went for brunch and was satisfied. It felt like real food, not too greasy or anything like that. Food you feel good about eat. I wasn’t blown away by the flavour or anything, but a solid brunch option. No real complaints. Service was extremely fast especially considering it was a busy brunch time.

Definitely a solid breakfast/brunch option. - Edit
My partner and I stopped by for a late brunch and I have to say I was pretty pleased! The portions are HUGE so be prepared to pack some home or split it with someone if leftovers are not your thing. They have an assortment of classics and some very inventive stuffed waffles (savory and sweet). The only two let downs for me was the tempeh bacon that tasted like yucca and the bland kombucha. The server seemed to be guiding me towards the other flavor but I didn’t listen, so that’s on me.

Delicious Breakfast/Brunch spot - Edit
I've been here several times with my omnivore friends and they've LOVED it. It's usually busy especially around 11am but I got lucky and showed up around 9 am and got a table right away. The Mac and cheese is mine and my partners favorite! The waffles are so filling, the tofu scramble is well seasoned and herby, and the tempeh bacon is my hands-down favorite way to eat tempeh!

Came into town and needed breakfast. Found this great restaurant that’s both vegan and vegetarian. I wanted basically a little or everything so that’s exactly what I got. Food was really good, sat on the patio since the weather was nice and enjoyed a vegan Bloody Mary!

Breakfast burrito, huge and yum!! - Edit
We both had the breakfast burrito. It’s filled with tofu scramble, hash browns and sausage. The tortilla is organic which we really appreciate. Every component is delish, it’s huge and very filling, a home run all around! We would have preferred that the sides be more breakfast oriented. They were fries, slaw or salad. We opted for slaw and fries. The fries were great, crispy and hot, the slaw wasn’t the best we’ve had. My husband opted for oat milk for his coffee which is his fav.
