Nope - Edit
Burger was okay, but the vegan bacon wasn’t crispy and honestly fat burger does it better for the same price. Fries were quite good and possibly the only redeeming factor. The Oreo milk shake? Blizzard? Whatever it was, it was some nasty; weirdest texture (like the inside of a Cadbury cream egg), way too sweet and the Oreo chunks were massive, way too big for the straw they give you to eat it with. And the minute made orange juice is clearly watered down.

I really wanted to love this place - Edit
I was really excited Odd Burger was coming to Edmonton. I know vegans who have eaten at other locations and raved about the food so I had high hopes. Sadly I don’t love this place. I consider it to be a meh burger joint to eat at if you can’t be bothered going to a full service restaurant. Also, they are not fast. Each item is made to order so you have to wait a while. Best items we had: the coffee (surprisingly good); the milkshakes; the fries; the hash browns, the tots. I had high hopes for the breakfast sandwiches but the tofu was cold, the cheeze was cold and not even melted. We had the maple crunch which in photos showed maple syrup oozing out. Ours had zero detectable maple syrup so we wondered if they forgot to put it on. Burger patties were pretty mushy. Chicken cordon bleu patty was dry. We will probably go back once more to try the onion rings and Oddnado. After that I really don’t see us eating there with any regularity. Oh, and the cookies are Sweets of the Earth brand in a plastic wrapper. I wouldn’t bother with those again either.

Superb new standard in Vegan fast food - Edit
I went today for my second Odd burger experience and I wasn't disappointed. First customer of the day, the guys brought me a top class Famous burger and a Chickun Caesar wrap for my wife. Great taste, great economy, would definitely try again.

Wonderful new plant-based addition in YEG! - Edit
We went on opening day and it was packed. It took 55 min to get our food, but it was opening day and there was ~16 orders in front of us. Staff were super kind and attentive and checked on us regularly through the wait and thanked us for being patient. We had the Preposterous Burger, Crispy Chicken burger, fries, tator tots and a vanilla milkshake. Everything was well presented, hot and fresh and tasted fantastic! I wasn't the biggest fan of the milkshake but I want to try and see if I like other flavours. It was so nice to not have to worry about cross contamination or asking for no cheese/mayo, etc. Overall great experience despite the long wait - I'm hoping as they get more settled in and efficient they will get faster. We're excited to have this new addition in YEG!
