Very tasty authentic açaí similar to the ones I used to have in Rio. With the toppings in layers. You can taste the proper açaí unlike other places that claim to do açaí bowls and is just a flavourless thing. Staff is super friendly too.

Oakberry is a global chain with a few stores all over the world. The one in Brussels is just as good as anywhere else and offers their standard menu: choose from three sizes of their açaí purée base and then top it with as many toppings as desired. Peanut butter is always great, it gets super creamy with the cold açaí purée! Fresh fruit are another good one and coconut flakes or granola provide a nice crunch😄

They offer bowls and smoothies although “bowls” are not served in proper bowls but rather in a smoothie cup. The difference is that smoothie is more liquid and bowl is to eat. It’s still tasty.

That’s how it is authentically done in Brazil in places like Rio, it’s in a cup. Not smoothie cup, just a cup. It’s also meant to be more liquid. 🌱

Read moreThere is a huge variety of toppings you can add to your bowl - which is available in three different sizes. The amount of toppings is unlimited and you can mix and match how you like.
You shouldn't miss out on the Chia Whipped Cream and the Coconut Chips. There is also a brasilian peanut-sweet you can add with an extra-fee.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They even gave me one of the peanuttreats for free as a sample.
The store itself is very small but there is enough space to enjoy your lunch break.
You should be aware though, that the açaibowl is not purely made out of açai. There are additives included like sugar etc.
