Food good, customer service bad - Edit
The first time we went here I got spring rolls which were amazing - really crispy and full of flavour and massaman curry which was great too. I went back expecting the same experience but the service was ridiculously slow, bringing one persons food 10-20 minutes before another persons. The food was still good but their dog was very frisky and would not leave us alone. The owner got his child to try to move the dog but the dog went to bite the child. It ended up sat on our feet and we didn't want to move it incase it tried to bite us.

The service was extremely unfriendly, even when they made mistakes. I ordered a vegan Glass Noodle Salad NO spicy and it came very spicy, 5 min after they took it, there was no difference, still very spicy and no sorry. On the bill, they charged us 55 baht too much after we calculated it. Still no sorry. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed our meal and the staff was able to replace the meat by tofu in our dishes. Tasted good and were quick to prepare. Good option in Khao sok area

Great mango salad - Edit
We had the pad Thai with tofu & vegetables, the sweat Sour mixed vegetables with tofu & pineapple and, last but not least, the mango salad. The first two dishes were small but good, whereas the mango salad was delicious!

Our second time at Numngern. We really enjoyed the delicious panang curry and the spicy red curry, both vegan. The best place in Khao Sok for those who like spicy food 😋

Most vegan choices in Khao Sok area - Edit
A lot of vegan choices with different soups, rice dishes, noodles. Half of the restaurants on the streets of Khao Sok have a "vegetarian" menu (all dishes can be vegan if you ask for tofu option without eggs / milk). This is the only one that has a vegan menu and vegan protein pieces (I think soy). Everything that we ate, was delicious.

This is a cute little restaurant. Felt like little cheaper than other restaurants with vegan options. Different vegan curries and fried dishes. If I was here for more days, I'd definitely come back!

Many vegan options. Cute place with lizards on the ceiling and such kind staff. We ordered the red curry (although it had a yellow colour 😌), and it was super super tasty!! Nice and spicy as well. Very generous portion, I could have done with less but it was too good not to finish. If I knew about this place earlier I would have come back multiple times to try all the dishes.

We went to this place 5 times during our 3 night stay in Khao Sok. We didn’t try another place as Numngern had lots of vegan options and we liked the food, especially the massaman curry. The owner is friendly (doesn’t speak English very well, but understand veganism) and the cat even more.

We were only in the area for one day and we came for lunch and dinner. Absolutely delicious. Many options including dishes with vegetable protein (meat substitute) that is rarely seen over here. Probably the best spring rolls iv ever tried.

HC doesn't allow 5 stars for vegan friendly places. I would definitely give 5 stars. Lots of vegan labeled options, great fruit shakes, cheap and near to the Khao Sok Nationalpark entry. We stayed at Jungle&River Resort and had food here 3 times and it was always very tasty.

Varied selection of vegan thai food - Edit
There is a whole page of vegan thai dishes. I tried keoy teow as I hardly ever find it in Thailand. It was a bit greasy but this is how it usually is, it was delicious. My friend had pad Thai which was a much more healthy option. Would definitely return.

There a lot of vegan options on the menu and the food is quite good. Loved the fruit shakes! We ate here a few times during our time in Khao Sok because this is the only fully vegetarian place around. The portions are a bit small, so sometimes we ordered an extra dish. But that was fine, because it was really cheap!
