One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten - Edit
I am almost speechless at how delicious this place is. Every single item we got was so carefully crafted and unique - I had never had vegan burrata, carbonara, or cacio e pepe in my 11 years of being vegan. The vegan creme brûlée also was from a dream! The space is small and intimate and everything is crafted with love.

Absolutely gorgeous and amazing food - Edit
This place is special. The atmosphere is chilled out and romantic. The food is outstanding and the people are so kind and professional. They made us have such a lovely time and helped us celebrate a birthday on probably one of their busiest days of the year. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing - Highly recommend. - Edit
This was easily one of the best vegan (Italian) meals I have ever eaten. The table had a selection of pizza and pasta, and it was all incredible. 1/3rd of the guests were meat eaters and they all said they would come again.

A cosy, friendly, central place. We had artichoke starter - enough for two and absolutely delicious.
Read moreWe then had the Lucio pizza and the very ‘cheesy’ one.
Before eating here our favourite venue for pizzas was Buddys in Rome (a fully vegan restaurant) We both agreed these pizzas were even better!!
Highly recommend. I would book as it seems to fill up.

NovaPizza - Edit
I would’ve liked to eat in, as I think the food experience might have been better, but since they close at 9pm I opted for takeaway. I went for the Rugantino pizza, priced at £23 – a bit on the pricey side, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, the base was quite soggy, the cheeze hadn’t melted properly, and the flavours just weren’t to my personal taste. Perhaps I just chose the wrong dish — next time I’ll try a pasta and dine in instead.

Great place to eat - Edit
It was really nice to have an all vegan place to eat. We got a starter, two pizzas and two drinks each. Great service and amazing food!! Restaurant was small so try and plan ahead if going at peak times or with a larger group.

Disappointing - Edit
I was really looking forward to this restaurant but was left sorely disappointed, and am a bit surprised by all the good reviews.
Read moreI visited with my sister and we were one of the first tables to be seated. We ordered a starter and two pizzas and the starter came out pretty quickly and was tasty but the garlic sauce was overwhelming. After that the restaurant filled up and the tables all around us started getting their mains. Around 45 min after finishing our starter I asked about our pizzas and was told they were coming (but we ended up waiting another 10 min). When they arrived they looked beautiful but tasted awful. My sister had a potato based pizza that had zero flavour, while mine was a tomato based one that was so salty it made my mouth pucker and was covered in the same raw garlic sauce from the starter. Even though we were hungry after waiting so long, we could only manage a couple slices each.
Bad service, bad food and a nearly £90 bill for two pizzas, one starter and 3 drinks. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was such a disappointing experience on the whole, especially when we only had two nights in Edinburgh.
Pros: Cute restaurant, Decent house red wine
Cons: Bad service, Poorly seasoned food

Great food - Edit
Food was really tasty, had some very different pizzas. Lovely pistachio based one. The restaurant itself is very clean and stylish too. I think the only downside was seeing one of the staff seemingly quite rude with other guests (not with us) but it felt a real shame.

Worth a visit once - Edit
It is great if you're a vegan who's never had a choice in an Italian before, but the prices and rules make it uncomfortable and expensive. Our group of 6 all had to have two courses each (which wasnt stated on menu or website - minimum £10 for starter and £18 for main, £6 "nibble" didn't count) with 10% service - would be happier paying that in a nicer place with more space and better service, but it's cramped and smells of burning. Pizzas have improved a lot over the 10 years. It used to be a lot of VBites stuff but now the seitan and cheese seems to be more artisan.

Excellent “cheese” - Edit
We ate dinner there tonight with our family and some work friends. Our daughter’s partner is dairy free. They have never had Burrata cheese. It was so amazing, I was shocked I was at a vegan restaurant. Owners are quite friendly. Pizza combos were great. Mixed drinks were good also.

Fall from Grace - Edit
Too expensive for what it is, they used to have amazing pizzas so it was almost justifiable but the crust/dough aspect of the pizza has changed and their prices keep getting higher. Also forced 10% service tip which they try to make you feel bad for asking to remove means I won't be back. Used to be my favourite in Edinburgh, sad.

Best vegan meal I’ve ever had - Edit
My partner and I had a reservation here back in COVID times and we were absolutely blown away. The charcuterie board was outstanding, typically I’m not a huge fan of vegan cheeses, but everything was delicious, especially the meats. Both the pasta dishes we ordered were outstanding as well. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!
