Insanely delicious vegan food!!! - Edit
My partner and I were just visiting from Queens, NY, and found ourselves staying about 30min away from this restaurant during a long weekend. The menu was so awesome we shared ~5 items we plus took a ton of food to go to eat in our hotel room! Everything we tried was phenomenal: the open faced meatloaf sandwich, the bbq mushroom sandwich, a pepperoni pizza, buffalo and bbq cauliflower, penne arrabbiata, the charcuterie board, the lemon ricotta pancakes and the breakfast burrito. It was ALL SO AMAZING. The pizza crust was out of control delicious. We were veryyyy grateful to find such an awesome menu in such a vegan unfriendly area! And everyone who chatted with us was so hospitable and lovely! Really glad we were able to make it here more than once (for dinner and then again for brunch)—if you’re vegan and visiting wine country you cannot miss it!!!

Our Favorite Restaurant! 😍 - Edit
We loved the vegan deli. It has beautiful meats, desserts, and pastrys. The venue is amazing, indoor and outdoor seating, with live music. The beautiful garden patio is shared with the other 2 restaurants. The owners are compationate and genuinely kind people and the service is impeccable 👌 It's my husband's birthday is tomorrow, so guess where we're going for dinner 🥳

Amazing! - Edit
Extensive and delicious vegan menu! I think this may be the only vegan place in all of Napa and Sonoma, not sure about that, but it is really hard to find vegan food in this area! The gift shop is full of vegan sweets, cute kitchen and pet items, and to go sandwiches and cheeses. The menu items are inventive and not overly reliant on fake meat— I had an amazing artichoke based crab cake sandwich I would highly recommend! This place is going to be a staple of my Wine Country visits!

Supernova - Edit
Located in a cool, historic former distillery in Calistoga the space has plenty of charm and ample seating. I ordered the Bao buns and the lion's mane. While I can't say I was blown away with my choices, I was satisfied. It was rather pricy too and I wouldn't even mention that but the portions didn't match the price imo. However, I couldn't help but wonder if there are superior items I may have overlooked. For me it is a bit of a hike and I'm not sure when I'll be in town again. I'd like to try more of the menu in the future.

Great Vegan Spot at Calistoga Depot - Edit
Nova Terra Kitchen & Creamery at the Calistoga Depot has great food and a fun outdoor seating area with occasional live music. Ordering is easy via their mobile site. The vegan food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Being part of a group of small restaurants, you can sit together with others and order from different places in the depot.

Destination worthy! - Edit
I'm thrilled that TN has opened in calistoga! This place is fantastic for both vegans and non-vegans. I visited on a weekday for lunch and ordered the pepperoni pizza with fresh mozzarella cheese. It was delicious, with the perfect crust and consistency. While the $29 price tag for the pie was a bit steep, it’s understandable given the wine country location. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, with special thanks to Denise.
Read moreI returned today to try some baked goods and can't wait to dig in. Please come and support them—it's the only vegan restaurant in Napa Valley (as far as I know) and well worth the drive from San Francisco or the East Bay.
Additionally, the new bike path runs right next to the restaurant, making it perfect for a cycle or a walk with your dog after your meal or snack. The patio is dog-friendly! This restaurant is a huge win for Napa County!
Pros: Homemade vegan cheeses, Attentive staff, Dog friendly
Cons: They should add ice cream 😀

Finally a vegan eatery in Napa Valley - Edit
Service and the food was great. Our favorite was the Bao Bun , the battered cauliflower appetizer was also good. The chopped salad was light & went well with both . We got the mushroom pizza to go but snuck in a taste; yum.

Compromise no more! ❤️🌱 - Edit
Compromise no more! Nova Terra Kitchen has it all! Say goodbye to sifting through a meat & dairy laden menu for vegan options. This place is 100% plant based with a heavy emphasis on local and organic ingredients! Ambience ✅ incredible cocktails ✅ Delicious food ✅ Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner ✅ Since finding them several weeks ago we’ve thoroughly enjoyed 2 breakfasts, 3 lunch/dinners and got take-out from the counter for a picnic. Clearly, we’re obsessed! Every time we go the owners, Terri & Brook (also the amazing chef) are on-site and working hard. Never too hard to take the time to stop and say hello, ask for feedback, and be incredibly friendly though. Everything about the food, atmosphere, staff, and owners makes me want to support them! I cannot wait to return.

Wow🔥🔥🔥 - Edit
2nd time here. We met the owners Terry & Brook, enjoyed a chat with them. The Bao Buns were so flavorful. Cauliflower bites were tasty and the Pulled BBQ sandwich was so good! We left stuffed! Can’t wait to come back.
Read moreThis place is pretty impressive. Lots of dining areas to eat. Patio, inside or inside a train car. We picked the train car. Menu has a fair amount to pick from. I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich. That was one of the best meals I’ve had! Wife had the fish & chip. I had 1/2 of a fish. The fish being banana blossoms was a texture like jack fruit. The chef got creative on this one👍🏼
We checked out the chocolate shop and market too.
Plenty of vegan goodies to find.
Can’t wait to get back here.

Nova Terra is Awesome! - Edit
Nova Terra is an awesome place to eat. The cauliflower bites were the best I've had anywhere. Great that you had two choices of sauce for these, Buffalo and BBQ. I would definitely visit here again just for these. The cheese platter was well done also. Cocktails were delicious. We went back for breakfast and had the biscuits and gravy, also the best I've ever had. Pastries and cookies were outstanding. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on their menu.💚🌱

Incredible Food!!! - Edit
Not only is Nova Terra the first fully vegan restaurant in Napa County, but it is so drool-worthy! The variety satiates all palates - from flavorful fish n chips, unbelievably delicious crabcake sammies, and buffalo cauliflower wings to gorgeous, fresh, and satisfying spring farro salads and ooey gooey fan favorite pizzas! This is not your old school crunchy, dry, bland vegan spot or over the top fake and fried - this is the real deal! An absolutely stunning menu with delicious goodness for all appetites! Plus, all the various cheeses are exceptional!

Lovely date spot - Edit
Highly recommend! Me and my boyfriend stopped by after a hike and had some of the most delicious food we’ve had in a long time. On the pricier side but well worth it for a nice lunch or dinner date. There’s a little cafe/boutique area up front too with vegan snacks, pastries, and some cute kitchen accessories and ceramics!

Delicious and absolutely a fabulous addition to the Napa Valley food scene - Edit
Chef Brook has created an amazing menu of delicious food that happens to be Plant-based. This is not just food for people who are already choosing non-animal products for their diet. This is outstanding food, it is good for the mind-body and soul, and did I mention absolutely delicious? From breakfast, pastries, to salads, to very hardy meals, I promise this is one of the best chefs and experiences In Napa Valley. Also, Nova Terra cheeses are outstanding. I’m so happy Nova Terra kitchen and creamery are now open for all to enjoy. Bon appétit.
