Read moreI ordered the "Smavo", and it was one of the best avo toast I've had. It had a tiny hint of Asian-inspired dressing, just enough to make the dish unique.
It looks like all of their dishes have a little Asian twist. It's nice to see a cafe that is creative and unique. You can tell that their food is prepared by a chef and not a cook - it makes all of the difference in the presentation, taste, and texture of the meal.
There are many other veg*n options on the menu for repeat visits...
I'll be back!
Pros: Several plant-based options., Asian-inspired chef prepared food - Yum., Only a half hour drive from my home! OMG Ballina!

Praise where praise is due! In the last 6 months, I have been going to this cute cafe in Ballina called Nosh for work meetings. Apart from their delicious Chai tea, I was never able to have anything because their menu was 100% animal protein based. The owner, Yan, was very approachable, and some of the people I was with were also plant-based. I happened to go there again yesterday and Yan saw me coming. He handed me a menu with a big friendly smile on his face. I said: "No, thank you, I'm vegan. He said, "Just have a look". Well. I opened up the menu and saw a full page of vegan and vegetarian dishes!!! Needless to say, I ate and it was delicious. So, if you are in the area of Ballina, please drop into Nosh cafe. In the meantime have a look at their website.
