Fresh and Delicious - Edit
Great vegan spot. I had the bbq chikn pizza and “beef” tacos. The tacos were very filling and loaded with veggies. The veggies were so fresh and crisp. If I had remembered to order the corn tortillas it would have been some next level eating. The pizza was also quite delicious however I prefer a NY style crust and less vegan cheese. Staff was friendly. Will be back to try other items.

Delicious! - Edit
Decided on Norma’s because it was the closest vegan place to our hotel and what a treat! I had a chicken Alfredo pizza and yucca fries that was delicious and Hubby had a chipotle bowl and orange cake. This place hit the spot!

We had the chik’n Alfredo pizza, it was absolutely delicious! Fantastic tofu seasoned really well. Crispy! Loved the tomatoes on it and I’m not a tomato fan.

Good - Edit
The food was good. I got the Norma's burger. If you want a side, you have to order that separate. My boyfriend food was a small portion. His food tasted fine.

Delicious yet low key - Edit
Really cool little stop inside the book store. I don’t come here regularly because I don’t think it’s worth the money, but every time I’ve eaten here, the food is delicious. Just expensive for what you get.

So delicious! - Edit
Stopped here randomly for a quick bite, and I ordered the gluten free chic’n Alfredo pizza. Holy moly it was so good! I didn’t believe the cheese was vegan so I stopped eating and had to ask. The gluten free pizza bread was better than most major pizza places! My boyfriend got the burger Arepa and I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t melt the cheese - it looked as though the tossed it on last second. The smoothie was very tasty!! Would definitely eat here again.

Had the Pabellón Criollo rice dish and it was delicious. Take it from a Cuban American, you won’t miss the beef. The vegan protein was fantastic. This place is a hidden gem!

Underrated - Edit
This place is a hidden gem! Literally! It’s kinda hard to find but 100% worth it! The staff are so friendly and everything I’ve tried on the menu is spectacular. Bonus points because they have a health food market attached it which isn’t fully vegan but they have a lot of great vegan options which I love.

Colorful, tasty vegan food is served with love at Norma’s. (Get Arepas!) - Edit
Norma’s is one of a kind. It’s situated in the heart of a Seventh Day Adventist Christian bookstore and market. You can find a lot of your favorite, vegan staples right in the market after you are done eating.
Read moreThe food is remarkable (OMG the Arepas!!!) and features several creative dishes. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. My understanding is that it’s primarily run by their children now.
Note that they are typically closed by 5 pm except on Thursdays (until 7:30 pm) #Veganuary
Pros: Everything
Cons: It’s not open all of the time

Great little vegan spot with a large menu! - Edit
I've been looking for a nearby vegan restaurant and the Lord answered my prayers. It's in the middle of an Adventist bookstore. It's cozy, quiet and smells amazing. Menu has a lot to choose from, especially for those transitioning into veganism.

Delicious - Great Options - Edit
Located in the Adventist Book Center, Norma's Plant Based Cuisine now offers a 100%vegan menu. From sandwiches to burgers, wraps to salads and smoothies in between, you will find a variety of foods to choose from. Favorites include vegan pizza, wraps, and smoothies. I was disappointed to see the heavy use of Impossible products in the dishes as many studies show this to be unhealthy & being SDA, this is not part of The Health Message… I would love to see this change to a more whole-food plant based approach.
Read moreThe owner Norma is very accommodating and uses fresh ingredients in her dishes. She pays attention to cleanliness and wipes down her equipment and utensils between orders.
There is a grab-and-go section and drinks as well. Nice indoor seating area.

Delicious vegan cafe - Edit
Found this hidden gem while visiting from San Antonio, Texas. They have a large selection of vegan items from burgers and pizza, to wraps, salads, rice bowls, tacos and smoothies.
Read moreWe had a burger with French fries, the Impossible tacos, and their very berry smoothie. All items were wonderful! The food arrived at our table as it became available from the kitchen, so everything was delivered hot and fresh. The smoothie was thick and fruity, and the Impossible Tacos were served with a chipotle sauce and a cilantro sauce. They were delicious!
The cafe is located inside a bookstore. It is small (maybe 6 tables), but was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and visit this place again in the future.
Pros: A large selection of various vegan foods., Friendly staff., Delicious food served hot and fresh.

Nice find - I just wish they were closer to home! - Edit
This was a nice surprise on a day when we wound up unexpectedly spending the day across town from where we live. The people were friendly and the food was good. The portions were more than ample, so some of it is going home with us to enjoy later.
Read moreDon’t let the location throw you off. It’s located inside the bookstore of the Seventh Day Adventist Conference facility. It’s a rather large facility, so drive around to the right from the main entrance and look for their sign on the door under green awnings.

I’m not normally in this area but I’ll gladly drive here to get a meal again. I recommend them highly.
Note- this is located in a church bookstore but the public is welcome. Drive around the building until you see a pair of glass doors with the name Norma’s on it. Enter here and enjoy.

Fantastic food hidden in church store - Edit
Don’t be afraid you’ll turn to fire and smoke stepping foot inside the Christian book store that harbors Norma’s. Her staff is gentle, knowledgeable, so sweet. They have made me almost everything on the menu. I dislike they are closed on weekends and wish they had a true storefront to sit and dine.
