I cannot describe how amazing the sushi tastes. It‘s magic… I was lucky enough to have great sushi in different countries, including Japan, but I have yet to discover a place that makes sushi so well.

The sushi pieces look amazing, and taste even better: I found it to be a perfect balance between excellent consistency and taste. The taste, in turn, appears to carefully combine subtle, but also deep and complex tastes, leaving you mesmerized after the first bite.
The sets I ordered were brought in intervals, with the first plate coming soon after ordering. This allowed me to enjoy the sushi as fresh as possible; a detail I appreciated very much.
Finally, the different plates with varrying pieces came with a certain synergy between them, as if the Chef was guiding us me on a discovery path of tastes.
One can only imagine the effort and dedication it must have taken to achieve this culinary perfection. Huge respect to the Chef!
This small restaurant is run by a family. From what I understand, the father prepares the sushi, while the mother and the son serve customers.
In addition to the amazing sushi, the beautiful environment and the lovely service staff make a visit to „Nori“ an unforgetable experience.

I'm not a big sushi connoisseur but I can tell this is a good one. And everything is vegan... Usually being able to choose between two sorts of Maki and that's it.. The quality of the product is great and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. I just can wait to go back!

The Best Asian Food We Have Ever Eaten - Edit
My husband and I have been vegan since 1991 and 1990 respectively. We just went to Nori for the first time and not only is it the best vegan Asian food we have ever eaten, it is the best Asian food period, and I am in my late 60s and my husband in his early 60s. Lots of meals in all those years. We had Vegan Peking Duck, Vegan Lamb Curry, Chickun with Kongbao Sauce and cashews, and Dragon Sushi and Flamed Beef Truffle (we are huge eaters but had to take the Lamb Curry home because we were so full). The restaurant is beautifully appointed and the meals are served beautifully. The family who owns the restaurant is lovely and the service is terrific. We will go back and back again and when there is a special occasion, it is the kind of place that is perfect for a celebration as well. Nori is highly recommended whether you are vegan or not.

We tried a variety of dishes with ups and downs. The bihoen Singapore chikun was disappointing and you should order the gyoza definitely steamed, not fried as we did. The restaurant should focus more on sushi and drop dishes that you can get in any Asian restaurant because the sushi is good. We had the 10 out of 10 box and another four pieces of uramaki tuna. Our favorites were the uramaki and maki. On the side, we had the tea pot. You should drink it relatively quickly because it gets very strong in the end. The staff is very kind.

We’ve been here twice in two weeks because it is just that good! So satisfying and a large range of options. We had the Shanghai and wonton soups, different dumplings as appetizers, Singapore noodles, Chinese noodles w/ ‘chicken’, tjap tjoy, and Peking duck. They were all amazing, and I can’t wait to try something else next time we’re around!

Super leuk en intieme spot in een centraal gelegen locatie. Familie restaurant waar je je gelijk thuis voelt. Eten was heerlijk! De gefrituurde ebi en California zijn zeer goed gevallen. De mie was ook lekker. Gefrituurde gyoza was prima, smaakt als een mini loempia. We gaan vandaag weer langs voor een tweede ronde!

The sushi is incredible. We kept ordering more plates. Not a huge amount of dessert or drinks options but the sushi is what you're there for. There's also a variety of hotpot and stirfry dishes but didn't try these. It gets busy and is a small restaurant so book ahead.

This very location used to have my favorite Chinese restaurant, with several vegan options. I went there several times a month when I lived around te corner in this amazingly urban neighbourhood. But that one closed years ago. Then I saw Nori sushi opened here, but it took some time to visit since I live further away now and have young kids. But we finally made it. And we loved it. This is our new favorite place to eat in Rotterdam. My boys (aged 1 and 6) loved it too. And the food looked beautiful. Not a cheap place to go, but totally worth it!
