Vegan eatery with lots of mock meat dishes, some sushi. Has menu with photos and English names of the dishes. Or order from a buffet of pre-cooked dishes. Look for yellow-red "jay" (veg) character in front of the building. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-7:00pm. Closed Sun.

Lovely little hole-in-the-wall VEGAN Thai restaurant. Indoor dining with aircon! Great food, great service and great prices. HUGE menu. Will return again to try more of the menu.

Wish I discovered this place sooner - Edit
Again my review is based on my experience with delivery only 😊
Read moreI ordered pad thai and fried spring rolls with Grab app and that was some of the best pad thai and spring rolls I had 😍 The pad thai was very well balanced, not too salty, not too sweet, I liked it. Spring rolls were soo crispy!
My only complaint is I wish the pad thai had some protein source like tofu, the pad thai I saw on other photos from this restaurant had tofu in it-not sure why mine came without but it was so good nonetheless!
Pros: Huge all vegan menu, Low prices
Cons: Food is pretty oily, No tofu in pad thai

Can’t recommend enough - Edit
I was expecting some average street food, but was truly blown away by the size of the menu, speed of cooking, tastiness, and the hospitality of the staff.
Read moreI arrived 30 minutes before official opening, but the staff still let me in and opened the restaurant early just for me. The food was prepared quickly and delicious iced tea was served with it. I wish I had gone here earlier in my trip so I could go back again.

Great vegan thai food for a great price - Edit
When taking the ferry to Iconsiam I had to try this when I came back, well it was for sure worth it! You get a plate with white rice and 2 options for like 60 baht. My favourite one was with the green beans and tofu, truly a lovely local vegan spot which even my non vegan friend liked a lot! Cola was 20 baht, which was in a glass bottle which is a big plus. For sure can recommend

Tasty Jai - Edit
Nice tasting local Jai place. Some precooked and a large made to order menu. I had 2 dishes from the made to order menu, tom yum noodle soup and Chinese broccoli stir fry, both were good. 80 Baht each made to order dish, slightly more than other similar places in town, but still very reasonable. They have a small dine in area, but seems most of their business is takeout.

Tasty, authentic, great price... what else can you ask for as a vegan traveler?
It's close to our Airbnb so this will become a staple for sure.

The restaurant looked plain, but the food tasted really good. - Edit
I arrived around 1:30 and there was no cook, so I could only order noodles and fried rice.
Read moreWith so many options on the menu, it was hard to decide what to order. The owner recommended the Pad Thai, which was delicious with chewy noodles and a variety of spices. It was the first vegan Thai dish I've had in Thailand and I was really happy with it. I'd love to come back and try some of the other menu items.

Pad Thai - Edit
We arrived at 12:30 for lunch, but as the chef wasn't there yet, the options were limited: pad Thai, fried rice, or choose something from the buffet. We opted for the vegan pad Thai (70 baht each), which was good.

Second try - Edit
Update: after a few years I went back. Still not a fan unfortunately. Had the mushroom spicy larb, was good spicy, but too oily and seemed like some kind of cilantro/Koriander was still in it even though I ordered without. Not very friendly. Dishes are around 80. Want to like fully vegan places, but it’s just not my taste. Maybe you have more luck

Best Pad Thai - Edit
I had the best pad thai in Bangkok in this place. A bit more pricy than other spot but still very cheap. Fried mushrooms were a bit too oily. They have a huge menu, so everyone will find something😄

Tiny hole in the wall w huge menu - Edit
This place has 4 tables (owner was doing some paperwork at one, so really 3 tables). The menu is ENORMOUS, and everything we got was fantastic. Crab fried rice, fried tofu skin salad, crab ‘meat’ balls, and chickn satay (my favorite item). Though the menu can be confusing, everything is 100% vegan. Food was super affordable too, we paid ~350 baht ($12 usd) for two entrees and two apps.

Great Little Restaurant- huge Menu - Edit
I had a couple of little dishes here. Tofu on a stick, and some rice. Very tasty. There are only 4 tables. Although they have a buffet setup the owner suggested I order from the menu.
Read moreThe menu was a little confusing at the start because many of the items say that they have fish or pork or chicken in them, but I am told this is mock meat.

The owners are adorable! They did not speak much English and with the biggest smiles asked some kids to help with translation. I was recommended a few dishes and everything was delicious except for one really spicy mock meat item. If you can handle spicy food you'll definitely enjoy everything there! :)

Honestly good - Edit
Tiny restaurant with a selection of precooked, daily dishes. The red curry was rich and flavoursome and the noodles were crisp and spicy. The greens a little too hard but a favourite was the soup prepared upon request by the very thoughtful owner. Personally would have preferred less mock meat in the dishes but it was all satisfying and bargain priced in pleasant environment.

So authentic, it makes me sob - Edit
(Current as of early 2020)
Read moreLong before I went vegan, I was living in Thailand and eating at a small Thai restaurant nearly every day for half a year. Usually, I had Thai fried rice with lots and lots of nam pla, and a coke.
This restaurant let me relive that experience. This place is so incredulously genuine, it hurts. Down to the vibe and the general atmosphere: fans instead of ACs, store fridge full of soft drinks, small buddhist family altar.
But what I cared about the most was the fried rice with nam pla. Nam pla is based on fish sauce, and they were able to recreate the fishy taste of it using a spice blend based on seaweed! And their fried rice had it all, from green basil and tofu egg, to mock meats, to cucumbers on the side ^^
This is not an upscale restaurant, nor it pretends to be. Wait times can be long, the restaurant owner gets stressed by huge takeaway orders at times, plus usually she works the tables and the kitchen alone (sometimes her son came to help after school). IMO, it all only added to the experience.

Spicy and DELICIOUS - Edit
Some of the tastiest Thai food I’ve tried. The menu is ridiculously huge and feels like an encyclopaedia. On both our visits we were amazed by how quickly the lady brought the food out, yet it was fresh, piping hot and packed with spice and flavour. We didn’t try the lunch buffet, just ordered off the menu - green curry with steamed rice, pad thai, papaya salad and green curry chick’n fried rice. Highly recommend!
