It was opposite of the hotel I was staying in Bangkok and it’s one of the only veg restaurants in the area that is open at night in the area. After everyone was raving about the massamam curry, I ordered it in a vegan version. It’s 150baht, 20baht for white rice. The portion size was okay. But it mostly onion with a little bit of other vegetables and it tasted only sweet, no spicy at all even though I told her spicy. The owner is nice, a little stressed once in a while. But overall I feel it is overpriced for what you get.

We were craving for some italian food after two months we had our last pizza in pakse.
Read moreWe expected more for the high priced Gnocchi and one pizza. The taste was quite plain. We paid for both dishes and a one liter juge beer 830 Bath, almost 25 €. The food was ok, but we expected more.

Silvio the owner is super helpful and friendly. He’s a vegetarian of over 45 years. I had the vegan massaman curry and rice. WOW, the flavor! The Thai guy working there too didn’t speak too much English, but Silvio jumped into help. Recommended place, especially for late night eating when I couldn’t find any vegan places open.

Silvios has become one of my regular hangouts since I found it. The veg food is great and well labeled. The owner is vegetsrian as well so sometimes they even have veg specials. They also have good beer and wine prices and the pizza as well though not vegan just veggie.! I ❤️ Silvios.

Silvio’s bistro is a cool and relaxed place when one can indulge in both local and Mediterranean cuisines! As an added bonus, since the owner’s a vegetarian he pays particular attention to have a furnished vegetarian menu! ;)
